Well Sherie Rene Scott will be looking for a new show to do about then I think. Throw a red wig on her and I think she could pull it off well.

Sherie would be wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too old for Ariel. How bout Jessica Grove, or maybe even Katie Clarke?

Man that is gonna be kinda awkward for Disney to have a 16 year old girl on the stage with nothing but shells covering her and love scenes. :)

Doesn't mean they need to have someone who IS sixteen, but at least someone who LOOKS sixteen. ish.

Someone suggested Jessica Grové (she's got an accent on the e, right?). That would work. :)

... love scenes?

(a) This is Disney.
(b) They like... kiss.

well what disney do is whenever they work on a show, they think of tricks to help the show. for e.g. the little mermaid show, they'll think of a trick of how to make the scene look like water life-like and how to make the creatures look like theyre in the sea but not actually when performing on thestage

I get that. Obviously. I thought you meant tricks to like, tone down this perversion that people seem to think there is! (And yes, I know about the thing with the priest, blah blah blah. That's not what I'm talking about.)

Visual tricks, of course.

I think Disney should cast someone brand spankin' new. The title is draw enough. And isn't Kristen Chenoweth supposedly looking at Legally Blonde?

When might Little Mermaid come to Broadway?? Fall 2008 the earliest??

I'd hope Beauty & the Beast is gone by then. Its run it's course by now.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

little mermaid is due for spring 2007 but 2008 is another option. it depends how the progress is going, i mean they started writing the songs, completed the script book and director francessa zambello is sorting the actors out so hopefully they will have completed it A.S.A.P.

I'm so excited about the idea of a Little Mermaid musical. I've loved the movie since I was a little girl, and I can't wait to see how they'll translate it to the stage.
