Posted: 11/13/06 at 10:13pmOMG Does anybody know for sure that Grease is really going to go back on broadway in June 2007? I heard people talking about it and I also heard their doing a show called "You're the One that We Want" to pick the parts of the people for Sandy and Danny on tv. Is all this true? Please tell me it is! If anybody knows post something okay?

What gets me is that "You're the One That I Want" isn't even in the stage version... it was written for the movie.
Why would they want to get people's hopes up by naming the TV show that?

In the movie but not in the traditional stage version:
1) Grease
2) Hopelessly Devoted To You
3) Sandy
4) You're The One That I Want
There are also many of the stage songs in the movie but they are in the background and not featured.

Posted: 11/14/06 at 6:32amThe script and songs will be those featured in the UK version that has been in the West End and on tour variously since 1993. It has all the songs familiar to audiences from the movie and includes, youre the one that i want etc etc.
