I made some screencaptures.
I am just too excited. It all looks so wonderful. God bless cinemascope.
VERY nice!
Those are awesome!! I love the GMB pic! I am waiting for the vid to load so...
"showest"?
must admit, that looks very fun. I can't wait to sneak a burrito, a 20 oz. diet coke, and take a break from studying for the bar to watch this. :)
Also, John Travolta looks like he's having mucho fun.
I just can't stop watching it over and over again.
The cinematography looks outstanding!
Does anyone know if it is on the "other site" my new comp has a bad plugin problem and so I can not see the video...but let's me see videos in the other site...and my old comp crahsed a few weeks ago and so I now have no sound...so bottom line: one computer I can see the clip but no sound, my other, can not see the clip at all...
Now in its 34th year, ShoWest is the most prestigious and longest running event exclusively for the cinema exhibition and distribution community. In this competitive landscape for market-share, theatre owners and operators need to know about the latest products and services, the newest technologies, industry happenings and upcoming films. That's why, every year, over 5,000 motion picture industry professionals make ShoWest their "must-attend" event.
This HAIRSPRAY Montage was first shown at this year's ShoWest Expo which took place a few weeks ago in Las Vegas. Along with this Montage, clips of several musical numbers from the film were shown, and then performed 'live' on stage with the actors from the film: Queen Latifah, James Marsden and Zac Efron. Most of the film's cast was also in attendance (yes, even Michelle Pfeiffer, Christopher Walken and even Allison Janney).
At ShoWest, director and choreographer Adam Shankman with some of his cast: Nikki Blonsky, Queen Latifah, Michelle Pfeiffer and John Travolta:

I'm really looking forward to this after watching that, even if Zac Efron is Link, I think I can live with it because the rest of it looks amazing!
That looks FANTASTIC! I cannot wait for this film!
Yes, Brody, I know what ShoWest is, it was just the lack of CAPS I was pointing out...
Yeah my computer is also having a plug in problem. Does any other site have it up?

This actually looks like it could be a decent movie of a musical (of a movie). Something that hasn't been done in a while.
I am having a plug-in problem too, does another site have it up as well...????
Can someone put it up on another site so we can all see it..somehow I am having major problems watching it...
I have a pretty fast connection- but the vid doesn't play well for me either. It rebuffs constantly.

Thanks. I will try it!
Then you can go make some more fake websites!!!!
That is totally amazing! The whole cast does look like htey are having a ton of fun!
EDIT: I love the dancing Dynamite poster!!
I love it aswell.
The look of the film is fabulous.
Earlier people critized the film for looking to realistic and not colorful like the Broadway show. Well even with the realistic approach and more muted color pallete the film still comes off as very rich and very appropriate.
The production designers and art departments did a great job. Bojan Bazelli's cinematography and lighting is just gorgeous. I had no doubt about his work, since he did such a great job with Mr. and Mrs Smith.
I am just so happy to see it look and sound the way it does.
wow.. that was a great trailer. This movie is going to be fun. The cinematography looks great.
lol its so appropriate that "Without Love" came on just as I clicked on this thread..I'm really excited for this movie!
