is there any other cast recording of the lion king other then the original broadway cast?
There is a really bad version of some London cast doing highlights of the Lion King that my mom accidentally got me for my birthday. It was just terrible.

If we count the original movie soundtrack, then we must also count RHYTHM OF THE PRIDELANDS, the album from which all the "new" songs in the stage musical are derived.

ya, and lion king 2 (which is actuall where the songs from the rhythm of the pridelands are hiding) and TLK 1 1/2...but yeah, i love the rhythm CD

I have the London cast. I actually kinda like it cuz' it's more the sound you get when you actually see the show...
