I know there are the discounts on broadwaybox to get cheaper tickets.
As for re-orchestrating I don't think so because the piano (and Larry the pianist) are a big part of the show. The set literally is four chairs and a keyboard and they're doing a musical with it. In the Off-Broadway version there is a lot of running jokes with Larry at the keyboard - hoepfully they'll keep them - but I don't think it'll be anything more than a piano in this production.
also in the [title of show] show, they kept mentioning the fact that they would be able to move in to any Broadway theatre at that very moment since they only have a piano and 4 chairs. So I don't think they'll change that. I love this show, and the cast!
i would love to! Not sure if i'll be out of the school by the 14th though, but i will let you know.

That' great news! We haven't worked out what show we're going to yet, so stay tuned I guess especially if you will be there. Maybe we can get a group together to go see the show- and then have the offered party after it, that would be exciting!
Oh, those kids. I love the banner ads! I think my favorite is the one with the LOST reference. Hilarious!
I'm hoping to see this twice during my July trip. It all depends if Passing Strange closes before I fly in or not. I have my amazing tickets for the first post-opening show though! :)
UPCOMING SCHEDULE:Passing Strange (7.17.08), [title of show] (7.18.08), [title of show (7.19.08 M), [title of show] (7.19.08 E), The 39 Steps (7.20.08 M), Damn Yankees (7.20.08 E)
the banners are hilarious and its making me even more excited, if thats possible, and also more sad that i will not be in NY during the month of Julyceum...

And Sean, a bunch of us [tos]sers will absolutely have to meet up when you guys come into town and we can have a little celebration!

I won't be at the Ticketganza but I will be at the Travel Agent booking very important other tickets,
Yes the tickets that will get me to Broadway just before Christmas...[tos]mas I believe is the correct term for the festive season of December at the Lyceum.
There is another fan of my show planning a party Foster in honour of us Aussies arriving on Broadway, a party for the [tos]sers to attend- I think we're all going to celebrate [tos]mas together as a group, with us flying in. But I'd love to catch up with everyone, it'll be sweet!
And sorry to bring it back to Tony's (Sorry Robbie...whose prediction won...?) but here's our Tony Award special that we filmed of the show! Don't forget to have a bid on our poster to help us get to NY too!
My best friend and I want to see this and I'd love to get discounted tickets for previews. Can anyone explain the ticketganza thing? Is this the only discount going on for the show right now?
awww Sean... just because it didn't win, doesn't mean that the Xanadu is bad (you have to see it... the Cast Album doesn't do it justice) I didn't think it was going to win because there was major competition... Just hoped it would. But you have to admit, their performance was AMAZING!!! (Cheyenne *le sigh* Jackson)
But anyhoo back to [tos]... There is another discount at broadwaybox.com I believe for the previews... That's where I got mine for the 5th... check it out.

The discount lasts from the first preview until Oct. 9th.
I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.
