wonderfulwizard- were you the one who she was holding and going "this is really happening... right now." to? haha. If so, I took a picture for you you guys were totes adorbz as Susan might say.
Yes, that was us! Me and my friend were freaking out, we're both big fans of Susan.
Bumpin' some [tos] love!
And I just wanted to thank y'all for keeping this thread alive!
There seems to be some backlash threads that I'm not even going to bother posting on and I'm glad they kept their negativity out of here.
Thank you all again!
"[tos] in '08! La Santa Peronista!"
I feel like sharing a funny photo of jeff. We tried to take one but he messed up so we did it again.
bwahah! those actually end up being the best in the end.
and jeff is so freaking adorable. they all are, really.
lol
I went to this afternoon's performance and LOVED it. I laughed more than I have at just about any other show. A couple of the questions that may well be answered on here already but I don't want to read through 18 pages:
1) Do any of the performers read BWW? If so - BRILLIANT show, guys...my fiancee isn't thrilled that I'm a little in love with Heidi now :)
2) We know we counted three Into the Woods references - the festival one, the "I need your shoe" one, and there was a third one but we can't remember what it was...a little help?
3) The voice mail messages. Were those real or staged? We couldn't decide...
Again, easily one of the most enjoyable shows I've ever seen and I REALLY hope Hunter and Jeff (and Heidi and Susan) get their Tony moments next year!
jason, the other into the woods reference was susan saying "don't say that, of course you were meant to have children".
Yes! I had a feeling it had something to do with children but just couldn't get it. Thanks!
I also have to say the lyric changes Die, Vampire, Die were brilliant.
wonderfulwizard, the lyric changes in Die, Vampire, Die, were my favorite new addition to the show, but the day I saw it for the second time, no one laughed...
(Spoiler-wait, if you're not looking because it's a spoiler, there's something wrong. Get off your ass and go see [tos]! /shill)
"Your song is repetitive!
Your song makes me tired
Your song is repetitive!
And it doesn't rhyme!"
Oh, and 25th Annual Speller, that's a fantastic pic. Has Jeff taken a vow to wear a superhero-themed shirt every time he exits the stagedoor?
I think he has sweeneynut... lol
looks like he's been raiding my wardrobe...
I keed... I keed...

Hello All!
Fellow [tos]sers here! Is anyone going to Opening Night!? I wonder if they are coming out to the stage door.
In total [tos] style, I will be having dinner at Tavern on the Green after the show, lol!
Jason, I'm glad you and Caitie loved the show!
The voicemails are staged, but aren't they hysterical?
Guys, here's an article about [tos] that was in the NY Times yesterday!
[headline about unlikely broadway musical]
Very funny stuff. We figured a couple of them had to be staged at least, but like the Kerry Butler one sounded so genuine - and given the show itself...
So then, did the Sutton Foster fiasco actually happen?

I saw the matinee yesterday as well and it was simply CRAMAZING!
The entire thing was hilarious, heart-felt, and original. I loved every bit.
But as someone who is currently in a college production of Into the Woods (jack's mother), I'm in love with the THREE Into the Woods-specific jokes. It's been a stressful process and I had extra fun laughing at those.
Cheers [tos]sers!

The "Sutton Foster" message was originally Emily Skinner.
I guess they figured that an audience wouldn't know who Emily Skinner was.

I would just like to say that I love and appreciate this thread so much. you kids rock my world.

Or, they just thought that with the current Broadway version of the script, Sutton Foster made more dramatic sense.
oh well... just bought my ticket for Number 4 tonight... hehe
PS: Kaybee... YOU rock.
Ok, forgive me for being so stupid, but can someone tell me where the Schoolhouse Rock Parody in the show is? I'm quite baffled at missing it, since I was in a production of Schoolhouse Rock Live, and I watched all the videos growing up...
It's in Original Musical ("I'm an original musical, orignal musical" etc.).
