Can someone explain to me what it is and how it works? :/
Is it like Facebook?

I have such a girl crush on Heidi. She's gorgeous!

I was there tonight and the show is amazingly wonderful! The audience was super energetic and "Nine People's Favorite Thing" received a 2 minute long standing ovation!! I was sitting in the front row right below Heidi and she was having trouble keeping a straight face! During the curtain call, all four of them had tears in their eyes at the overwhelming audience response. It was great!!!
I had french class (12-1:30) during the Bryant Park thing today... so depressing. I could tell exactly what they performed just from looking at those pictures though... ahaha.
anyway, I too was there on the 1st night of previews too and blah blah agree with everything that everyone who loves [tos] has said- it changed my life etc haha. If you watched the stagedoor youtube video, my friends and are are in two still photos- we're the ones who made the t-shirts. I'm the slightly (very slightly, haha) taller brunette with the pigtails... good stuff.
p.s. the cast signed our shirts in addition to our playbills, and Susan drew me a picture! She goes, (something like) "since you made the extra effort, I'm drawing you a picture... you'll have to wait till you get home to see it (she was drawing on the back of my shirt) but here's a hint, it's not a vagina...." so great. It was a monkey face btw. Man, I feel like everyday I find something that makes me love them even more.
anyway, that's enough. but yay tos.
...it'll get here, oh, it'll get here...

Natch, I laughed out loud at that. That is SO Susan!!
"Hurry up and get into your conga clothes - we've got to do something to save this show!"

YouTube is being stupidly slow, but I have some videos from yesterday.

I chose, and my world was shaken- So what? The choice may have been mistaken,

Heidi's a very special gal. As sweet as she is gorgeous and wildly talented.
A friend of mine (a huge Donna Lynn Champlain fan) saw the reading of MEET JOHN DOE, and was very excited to see it in DC, but was bummed that Donna Lynn was replaced by Heidi (he saw [tos] at the Vineyard and was lukewarm about it]. Of course, he came back a HUGE new Heidi fan, saying she was "astonishing...she blew Donna Lynn out of the water." Now he's excited to see [title of show] again with me tonight!

TulitaPepsi- love your username and haha I know, Susan rocks my world. They all do. I died a little when she said that, but of course I couldn't move too much or I would mess up her beautiful artwork All I could say was, uhh... is it a pickle? a monkey?
and what an amazing interview with Heidi. I got all warm and fuzzy inside, especially when she talked about the posse of college age fans. haha
...it'll get here, oh, it'll get here...

I finally saw the show on Tuesday, having only listened to the cd, which I love.
I was very happy for these talented kids, and hope they have mucho success, but did find some problems with them being in such a large house. I am hoping that previews will get them over the "crap, we're on broadway" vibe I was getting, mostly from Jeffy. He seemed somewhat overwhelmed and had a deer in headlights, and therefore not in the moment, look about him, especially during the numbers.
I think the sound was off, too quiet most of the time, but I'm sure they are tweaking that at this point.
The [tos]ers in the audience were annoying. I missed the beginning of every answering machine message due to the screaming...wtf? Screaming because Patti made a message? I dont get it...and neither did anyone around me. Enjoy the show, but dont ruin it for the rest of us. It's as bad as talking or opening candy. I understand the enthusiasm for these guys, but it's not a Yankee game.
I LOVE that it's 90 minutes with no intermission. I love getting out of the theater at 10 instead of 11...some people may feel it's too slight for the price, however...an off-broadway run would've lasted years...I hope their running costs keep them around for a long time, however.
All that said, I do think it's terrific on the whole and standouts were Hunter and Susan's acting, total commitment and comfort with the piece and great comic timing. You can tell that they are playing with their line readings, living them in the moment, Heidi is getting there, and Jeff is just getting his lines out with the staging (sorry Jeff! Just relax!)
Heidi's voice is wildly wonderful and "Way Back to Then" was better than on the recording (though I prefer the Aerosmith ending to "Secondary Characters" GREAT reaction moment there! Brava Heidi!)
I didnt love all of the music changes, and many seemed unnecessary...nothing too bad, tho.
Great moments at the end, when Susan turns to the others and says, "Let our show be the rice krispy treat" , and the final lines where Jeff had his best moment as his voice cracks, and Heidi is clearly holding back proud tears.
GOOD LUCK [tos]! I'll revisit after you open! I know you can do it! You're cramazing!
"Carson has combined his passion for helping children with his love for one of Cincinnati's favorite past times - cornhole - to create a unique and exciting event perfect for a corporate outing, entertaining clients or family fun."
Glad you liked it! Quick question: Did the show only go for 90 minutes? When I went on Sunday it was more like two hours, letting out a few minutes before 5.
