Full respect to the talented Boop! cast and creative team. This show will post its closing notice this week. The theater rental is way too valuable. I did feel the Tony's did seem to go out their way to avoid any real mentions or camera shots of the cast and Jerry Mitchell. Anyhoo, you heard  my prediction here first amongst an ocean of those that fought the notion of this show succeeding. I quote the great Sol Hurok; "when they are not buying tickets, there is no stopping them".

But at least you were there at the Opening Night performance, right?

"You can't overrate Bernadette Peters. She is such a genius. There's a moment in "Too Many Mornings" and Bernadette doing 'I wore green the last time' - It's a voice that is just already given up - it is so sorrowful. Tragic. You can see from that moment the show is going to be headed into such dark territory and it hinges on this tiny throwaway moment of the voice." - Ben Brantley (2022) "Bernadette's whole, stunning performance [as Rose in Gypsy] galvanized the actors capable of letting loose with her. Bernadette's Rose did take its rightful place, but too late, and unseen by too many who should have seen it" Arthur Laurents (2009) "Sondheim's own favorite star performances? [Bernadette] Peters in ''Sunday in the Park,'' Lansbury in ''Sweeney Todd'' and ''obviously, Ethel was thrilling in 'Gypsy.'' Nytimes, 2000

What I am most curious about is who exactly involved with that show do you have a grudge against? Is it business or personal?

I think I know what the deal is between coffeebreak & MHE.  MHE went with a different supplier for their merch, & I think coffeebreak works for the bigger company in that racket.

Edit : Just want to mention again that I did watch way too much Elsbeth in the last few months

I don't think they actually knew anyone personally. I think it was all an act to get a rise out of people to think they were important and they loved the attention they were getting here till it all blew up in their face on opening night.

Their condescending attitude at how they spoke to many on here was totally out of line so to see the weeks of lies all come to fruition on opening night was really the perfect ending to a rather disturbing diatribe.

But as a few of us know they are still here but are now part of the ensemble so to speak.

"till it all blew up in their face on opening night". Hilarious Huss, the show blew up, and nothing else. I love the attention from you. If you read your unrelated posts, you are the one that is rude to others and have been called out. Please be nicer

Just because you say it doesn't mean it's true. Haven't you learned that by now?

Also if I have ever been called out I believe it is from you with one of the other (of several) aliases you use on here.

Tuesdays seem to be the news drop day. I think you're right. At least one show will post a closing notice, if not two (unfortunately my money is on Dead Outlaw)

Dead Outlaw is the cheapest show to run in terms of the four shows in danger of closing. Odds are they try and stick it out through the summer. BOOP and Real Women seem headed towards announcing something this week. Smash is the mystery because of their deep pocket producers. But I doubt it's around past Labor Day.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Smash will be posting sometime in the near future…. Word has gone out to investors.
