Honestly, SIX doesn't even need to re-open. They could make all their money on touring. They are officially a BROADWAY musical now, even if they didn't have an opening night. I have a feeling when the next tour comes to an end they will pop back in to whatever theatre is suddenly open.

I think they're banking on the fact that they have a "trailer." Trailers actually really can help a show, but equity rules make them VERY hard to make.

Does anyone have a list of actual LIVE performances happening this summer? I was checking the show lists here on BBW but they include all of the virtual stuff and it's exhausting. I don't want to miss any chance to see LIVE theatre and I'm afraid if I don't see a comprehensive list, I just might...

Believe it or not the Mormon Tabernacle Choir is largely non-Mormon. It’s a paid gig that allows you to travel the world performing... just paid for by the Mormon church as a sort of Positive PUblic relations move that worked very well in Helping to diminish stigma against members of the Church of Latter Day Saints.
I agree their stance against gays is problematic... I actually think we will see them change their stance on gays in our lifetime... and a public protest such as

Yes. Rather than pay the artists they fired them all and said they would pay artists going forward but the artists demanding payment no longer work there.

Yes. From now on it is racist for a white person to play a role which should be played by a person of color. Everyone involved with the production from cast to crew to institutions producing the production are holding up systems of oppression.
Whether or not there is ignorance, there is still a system of oppression. It is racist. If you do not call it out, you are racist because you are defending systems of oppression. There are no excuses. You must be anti-racist from now on!
