I'm very confident Dolly is not coming in (heard from someone on the show).

A lot of theaters are going to be vacant in the coming months - any idea of what’s going where?
I doubt Billy has any more interest in the demands of Broadway. And as for Lincoln Center, word around my UWS neighborhood is that a Shakespeare play is being mounted after Ragtime closes. You heard it here."
Hmm I think this will make sense on Tuesday. Not quite right though.
Paddington Al Hirschfeld March 2027
From what I know there are only 3 broadway theatres that had the fly height needed for this show.

TheGingerBreadMan said: "Do we think Just In Time could wrap up in January and Damn Yankees could take the Circle, retaining the in-the-round staging from DC? Just In Time could be a situation like the most recent Hello Dolly revival - it was built as a star vehicle for one specific person, a few people replaced due to the show being successful, but they don't keep it chugging with new star after new star."
This would be their ideal plan but for now they are looki
Broadway's Best Kept Secrets - Passion + Paddington
If Passion is happening I would be absolutely stunned if we see it in the 26/27 season.

860 needs a building MUCH larger than the Booth. The Majestic would be perfect."
....For a one man show? I'm sure he could fill The Majestic regardless but I wouldn't say he NEEDS it.

Warriors has the Lunt. St. James will have a special theatrical event in the fall and then 42nd street in the spring (not with Sabrina).
Spring Awakening revival announcement tomorrow?
It's Danya Taymor lol
The 2026 Tony Award Snubs!!
Not only do I think Kurtz should have been nommed, she would have absolutely been my vote no question.
COME FROM AWAY returning to Broadway?
I'm hearing its going to be the highly acclaimed Paper Mill production as a gap filler for a spring show.

Lead Actress in a Play 2026
Am I the only one really surprised Lesley is like the far away favorite here? Yea she was great but I certainly don't this she was on another level than Coon. I still go back and forth on who I'd vote for but I think I'd lean Coon.

I'm definitely with you as of right now. I think Pitts is giving the most well rounded performance.
DEATH OF A SALESMAN 2026 Previews
I really dont have much to add to what the others have said but I thought this was absolutely riveting. This play FLEW by. Everything about the design worked for me. Everything about the direction worked for me. Nathan Lane is incredible, I do echo what most are saying about act 1 Metcalf vs. Act 2. It's been a long time since I've sat in an audience with that much audible/physical reactions to things (profound/sandess wise, not comedy). Like one big punch to the gut. Will be going ba
Snow storm / blizzard - Feb 22 & 23
I think the reason for the silence is that the "storm" according to radar is really expected to begin around 7/8. Accuweather says no measurable snow until 8pm, and 3.6 inches on the ground at 11pm tonight. The brunt of this storm is really midnight on. Because of that sounds like there's no risk of MTA/public transit shutting down, its tomorrow thats the real issue.
Any news or insights on "THE OTHER PLACE" at the Shed?
I thought this was pretty extraordinary. A constantly engaging slow burn. Brilliant acting all around. P.S. Don't sit House Left if possible.
The Visitors at PAC
I thought this was actually quite good. I thought the writing was really strong and it didn't "preach" at you. I think the premise created a level of high stakes which kept the story moving. It's a really tight 75 minutes and other than maybe the first 5/10 minutes I never felt any let up. I would Recommend.
