Something was posted on reddit earlier today about auditions for a limited run of Elf for the holiday season, but most people there are saying that is going into the Marquis.
The idea is to work and to experiment. Some things will be creatively successful, some things will succeed at the box office, and some things will only - which is the biggest only - teach you things that see the future. And they're probably as valuable as any of your successes. -Harold Prince
That was weeks ago. I’m assuming they’re gonna announce right after Tommy closes if something’s coming in this fall. I’m thinking it might be JRB’s new musical since he loves using that theatre for stuff. Honeymoon in Vegas and Mr Saturday night.

Yeah right, cuz JRB gets to pick and choose which theaters his flops go into.

Newsies had a great run for two years. It recouped its investment just nine months in. It's been doing very well in school and regional productions. It doesn't need to still be on Broadway. It's had a very successful life in different productions all across the US ever since leaving NYC. You want it back on Broadway? INVEST IN IT!

This should apply to all shows people want revivals of that have been on Broadway in the past 10-20 years. You want it back? Invest in it!
