How have the crowds been looking? I'm planning on trying for both the matinee and evening performances on sunday and hopefully will be successful in winning one of them. Anyone have any idea of how crowded it's been?

I had a backstage tour for the Lion King but only because I have a friend in the orchestra so that was free. It is definetly interesting to see the stage and what not. Every piece of the set in it's place. I don't know how much the tours are running for though. If it's between 25- 50 bucks I'd say sure it's a fun bonus. But more then that, then I might pass. However, I didn't see the backstage of Wicked, which might be more exciting because of the size of the theatre and production.

The other day, my friend told me that he heard RENT was closing from our drama teacher. Is this true? I know ticket sales were going down but I was pretty suprised. Now, if this has been a known fact for a while and I look like an idiot, I've been out of the broadway loop for a little bit. Thanks for any info.

I think Kristin Chenoweth would be PERFECT as Elle. She has always reminded me of Reese in the movie.

Have any of you sat in the first couple of rows of Rent by getting the $20 lottery tickets? If so, was it great seeing the show that close or do u think it's better to sit further back. Are you able to see everything comfortably or do u miss the whole picture of the show by sitting too close? Please let me know your thoughts.

u should see Rent even though i'm sure u have already, but if u haven't, u should see it because Matt Caplan is awesome in it and he is leaving really soon.
