My advice is forget about Broadway , focus on Europe and Asia. Broadway will never embrace you.

BONNIE & CLYDE Reviews Dec 3
2011, 02:36:35 AM
Having seen the show in SD and last week here I'm surprised at the mean spirited reviews. While this show is nothing ground breaking it is an engaging show. I still hum a few of the tunes and think it is hands down Wildhorn's best score.

Jerry Mitchell Directing BALLROOM on Broadway in 2012?? Aug 25
2011, 12:08:43 AM
The show didn't work on many levels when it opened. Never made up its mind what it wanted to be. I do like the songs 50 Percent and the opener, There's a Real Nice Crowd and a Terrific Band. The rest of the score is a yawner.

Shows That Don't Age Well Aug 24

Applause is at the top of my list. Never had a good revival. They're Playing Our Song - Maybe could work as a period piece Promises Promises - it's Turkey Lurkey time! Give me a break. Baby - felt dated when it opened Of Thee I Sing RENT

WONDERLAND to Close on Broadway; Plays Final Show May 15 May 11
2011, 03:41:14 AM
So sad to see any show close. Every time investors loose like this it hurts the whole Broadway community. I would have thought if they could make it until the summer they could do the same business they did on spring break weak. Too bad.

Hope it happens. Cy Coleman was one of the finest composers Broadway has ever known and his works deserve to be heard.

WONDERLAND Original Broadway Cast Recording now available to order May 7
2011, 01:14:24 PM
I just listened and don't get what people like about Heros. It's not dramatic and truthfully that's the problem with the whole score. Some nice tunes here and there but no sense of drama. I do like "Finding Wonderland". But to me the whole score is a yawn.

RIP Arthur Laurents May 6
2011, 02:15:11 AM
The book to Gypsy is one of the most perfect ever written. There is not a wasted vowel in that book. It does something that so few musicals do today which is, tell a story and make every moment count.

BWW personals would be fun too. It would be great to date someone who also likes to see Broadway shows.
