I guess people can say Rannells doesn't move tickets, but I had 0 interest in seeing this but was going just because of him. Was very happy to cross it off the list when he dropped out

Is there any sort of vague inkling of when this might open? Trying to figure out a fall trip, and my wife really wants to see this again (we saw it at Berkeley) so trying to plan the trip around it, but nothing other than "fall" is what I've seen

Is there any sort of rumor as to when it might play? Trying to pan a fall trip and my wife really wants to see this, so don't want to miss it. Was planning to go in early November

Has anyone heard if there is going to be a cast album for this? I would love these songs with these arrangements and singers

I saw this when it was at Berkeley, I thought it had some high highs and some low lows. My wife adored it and has been asking me when it was transferring ever since

I thought this was incredible. I’m not sure if it’s because Sufjan and this album mean so much to me, and so to see them presented this way with these arrangements was emotionally overwhelming. The Predatory Wasp is one of my favorite songs of all time and I was pretty much just weeping by the end of it. And when I saw Shara was there, I had no idea she was in the show. Just great all around

I am pretty sure that was the name. I was sat immediately behind the french horn player so I was looking at all the song titles

Octet had 8 characters telling their stories.Three Houses introduced3 more, only that each story is now half an hour long. Maybe it's me not being emotionallyready to relive the trauma of the pandemic; maybe the stories did meander a bittoo much and lacked a punch, I was left unsatisfied. Obviously the show is still in preview and a lot could improve, but at the moment, it

For a dance show like this, front mezz seems most ideal.

That was my thought as well. I'm going for the music, so I figured a better view of the stage was the way to go

Illinoise - best new score?

As someone who has adored Sufjan for decades and seen him in concert multiple times, this thread is weird

Is this for sure coming to Broadway? Was going to extend my trip a day to catch it since I've been trying to see it since it was upstate. But wanted to make sure before I changed my flight

For those of you who have seen it, can you describe the set transition in spoilers? I saw it in Berkeley and am curious what they are doing with it in DC

I enjoyed this at Berkeley but my wife loved it and really wants to see it if it transfers. Was just curious if there were any rumblings. Seems doubtful it would be anywhere in the spring right? That's when I am thinking of heading up again

There is a bootleg out there that isn't great. And some youtube videos. Still the Franklin Shepard, Inc. I compare all others to

Unless the staging, which features an interesting moment in the show, is changed, it’s not a Circle in the Square candidate.
"

Yeah was a great moment, not sure how they'd do that on Broadway, sure they'll think of something.
