BENJAMIN BUTTON musical and more set for The Public
 May 9 2026, 12:45:36 PM

Does the public ever extend these? I really want to see Button but the date it closes is conflicting either the dates Galileo and Inter Alia are opening with my trip and other stuff going on if it extended like a week it would all work out.

2026 Tony Awards Nominations!

Aya Cash surprised me. I loved her in You're The Worst and The Boys but thought she was borderline terrible in Giant. I was actually surprised by how bad I thought her performance was, because other than Lithgow it was the one I was looking forward to the most

Thanks. I’m certainly willing to pay for the membership, but would like some info. Although it seems like a ton of people joined up, so who knows how much it would

even help.

Jonathan Bailey and Ariana Grande in SITPWG?

Now that it’s May, do we know anything more about how this is going to work ticket wise? I held out on paying for the membership cause it seems like there’s no guarantee they will even be up there early. And it seems like London productions usually hold a decent chunk for general on sale anyway. And I don’t think I’ve seen a date other than just “May”

Various people have said it runs closer to two hours. I don’t recall

Yeah I imagine this won't take long to film. One location, not very long. Imagine this thing will be filmed and through pst relatively quickly, it's more distribution then

Been listening to this a fair bit. Are my ears playing tricks, or is there some noticeable auto-tune on Christopher's voice in Anthem at the 2:47 mark? Seemed really odd to me, and now I can't unhear it.

We still don't even know the dates yet right? Been starting to preliminarily plan my fall trip but was waiting for some firm dates before I did. Right now I think the only dates I know for sure are Galileo and Wanted

It was one of those moments that really hits hard and perfectly encapsulates the incredible power of live theater. It's fascinatingthat people seem to be going to Chess to seeLea Michele and Aaron Tveit, but are leaving Chess talking about how wonderful Nicholas Chris

But I cannot fathom how this show works as a film, even if I can imagine the ways a director can open up the musical.

I was listening to the score again last night

See it's been covered, but I'm there that week and seeing a few odd timed shows. Proof on Thursday 6/4 at 2P. Chess on Friday 6/8 at 2P. Theres a Friday 5P Titanique too, but don't think I can do it and the 7P Dog Day Afternoon I have tickets for.

It did run for just over 2 hours with no intermission, totally made sense with this story.
"

Was going to ask about run time, the internet said hour 45, was hoping to maybe see a 1 PM and a 3PM, but if it's lasting 2 hours probably not worth it
