Well I’ve seen Chess twice, and I seriously cannot wait for everyone to hear the vocal masterclass Nicholas Christopher gives not just during “Anthem” but also for “Endgame,” trust me that is gonna be on my Spotify Wrapp

This one has stayed with me and still makes me chuckle."

I sat next to a nice young woman when I saw the Denzel/Jake Othello. At intermission she turned to her friend and said she "didn't realize it was going to be in another language and that hard to understand"

Official: TITANIQUE to dock at the St. James, March 2026 (16 Weeks Only) Jan 8

Yeah these prices are silly. I was going to see this cause I assumed it would be reasonably priced and a fun time. But I am not paying this much for that. I'll look for a discount or just wait for TKTS. Or skip it all together

CHESS (2025 Broadway Revival) Reviews Dec 22

Thought this was a bit of a mess for me. Some things I loved, some I very much did not like, but One Night in Bangkok and the Act 1 closer from Nicholas Christopher was worth the price of admission for me.

Yes, while I agree, the closeups kind of ruin the magic of the staging ... and while I agree, the (intentional, and necessary) overacting of ensemble members becomes insufferable once in closeup ... and while I agree, the editing was quite disorienting at times --- the joy of seeing the acting of Groff and Radcliffe and Mendez in such closeup was extraordinary. Such a wonderful, wonderfultrio of performances

TWO STRANGERS (CARRY A CAKE ACROSS NEW YORK) Reviews Dec 18

Forgot to follow up, but yeah, both of the understudies were great. Vincent seemed a bit emotional during the first number, and seemed to have a cheering section, he got a huge applause after his first song. Their chemistry was spot on, he was funny and had the timing down. I was a bit disappointed to miss both leads but Phoenix and Vincent did an amazing job. He got a huge applause at curtain and seemed a bit overwhelmed.

Echoing what a lot of others have said. The camera work was very jarring at first. About half way in I had decided I hated it and was pretty annoyed. Saw this twice at the Hudson and adored it, and didn’t really feel like this captured what I saw. But it grew on me as it went and I settled into the style. Whoever said it wasn’t a capture of the production but its own kind of movie was spot on. It was somewhere between a pro shot of a musical and a movie. I did appreciate the close

Short of absolutely nobody seeing the show, I can’t imagine it won’t crank out at least another month or two. OOTB now owns (or has a controlling stake in) St. Luke’s, so I can’t imagine they would want to kill off their own show unless they had a good reason"
NOW EXTENDED TO JANUARY 4, 2026!

I could see a passerelle working really well if the judges sat in the open section and were on swivel chairs so they could face either the back wall or the audience."
