Posted: 8/24/06 at 3:32pmFor me, it's Meredith Braun. I understand she has a good voice, and she must be doing something right to get cast in show after show in London. Yet, I still can't stand listening to her voice. For whatever reason, it grates on my nerves, and I want to scratch my eyes out when I hear it. Do you feel that way about any ***respectable*** musical theater performer?

Really? I've always felt the opposite. It seems to me that her voice has always seemed incredibly thin on recordings, but much fuller when you hear her live"

I think referring to them as "respected singers" in the first place might be controversial. :) I suppose an argument could be made for Fierstein, but certainly not Rosie O'Donnell.
