Deborah Messing Dating Her Smash Co-Star Will Chase

Dec 30, 2011 — 7:34:48 PM

They were 24 and 39 when they married. Did he leave his first wife/mom of his kids for his second? Things happened pretty quickly if they weren't involved before he had left his wife. Whatever...hope everybody is happy and any children involved are put first.

BONNIE AND CLYDE only selling tickets until Dec. 30...

Dec 26, 2011 — 9:29:15 PM

Re: Jeremy...I absolutely understand him not dancing around being all smiles at the stage door when talking about starring in Newsies...disrespectful to the people he is working with now who won't have jobs in a few days. Sensitive and gracious on his part. For some reason, I thought I heard the Newsies casting was confirmed, guess it was nothing official.

BONNIE AND CLYDE only selling tickets until Dec. 30...

It's really a shame, I thought it was a very entertaining show with some terrific songs. Glad Jeremy Jordan will be moving-on with Newsies, though, and hope to see Laura about in something soon.

An Evening with Patti Lupone and Mandy Patinkin Rush

Dec 26, 2011 — 12:05:08 PM

Haven't rushed it myself, but a Facebook friend recently posted that she got rush a couple of hours before the show for a Saturday or Sunday matinee and they were really great seats.

PORGY AND BESS = AMAZING!!!!!!

Dec 19, 2011 — 1:13:47 PM

"Press offices do not have people sign up on message boards to promote the show. Perhaps other peo[ple involved in productions do, but none of the press offices do." Press offices working on shows ARE involved in productions. And...yeah, they definitely do. I interned for a press office years ago...they most certainly used to have us sign-up and sing praises for their shows. Back then, I think it was the message board on Broadway.com. A lot has changed since then in the Internet world...I'm s...

Bonnie & Clyde -- better 2nd time

Nov 13, 2011 — 12:13:35 AM

"Some may be hoping for a train wreck but I'm hoping for a celebration or two." Will never understand the mentality of hoping for a train wreck or celebrating when something closes!

Question about Porgy and Bess tickets

Nov 1, 2011 — 12:28:43 AM

Honestly? I think 2nd row of the 1st mezz are great seats, especially in that theater. BUT since you're so excited to see Audra and if you have the extra cash, you might as well get the premium. It's a special occasion to you. I'm sure we all have splurged for reasons like that!

Adam Pascal Opening Night in Memphis

I'm so glad to hear people are enjoying his performance! He also looks very young and believable in the photos (I know that was a concern before.) Good for him!

So How is Bonnie & Clyde Different...

Oct 29, 2011 — 1:09:29 PM

Will be checking this one out...(even though it makes me disappointed that Jeremy Jordan won't be available for a Broadway run of Newsies...but, alas, they'll just have to give another wonderful young actor a shot if the transfer happens.)

THE PEOPLE IN THE PICTURE Cast Album Gets December Release

Oct 27, 2011 — 8:58:16 PM

I was sorry I missed this show...I had really wanted to see it, but then heard all the criticism and that made me a bit more anxious just to form my own opinion...wasn't able to get-up to get-up to the city for it. I think the topic sounded like it could have either been brilliant or a total disaster...but I think the effort and thought that goes into shows like that speak more. I'll definitely give it a listen!

Bonnie and Clyde or Lysistrata Jones??

Oct 27, 2011 — 8:51:43 PM

I'll say what I always say to these questions! Just see what you're in the mood for that day. They'll both most likely be on TKTs and you can get great seats day of, I'm sure.

Scott Alan's

"It was so much better before these boards and tweeing and Facebook so that we didn't have to hear about every first-time reading as if it meant something." So, so true.

I just heard about this and came here to search to see if anything had been said! I used to follow Scott's progress back in the day. His songs are really beautiful. Seems he changed his bookwriter over time. It would be great to see it go all the way, or at least off-Broadway.
