Email from Studio Seaview received with Andrew Scott sitting on a large stage.

"Before SPRING AWAKENING Returns, a First Look at What's Next"

"An Exclusive Look at What's Coming Tomorrow"

inside reads,

"October 2026. Two weeks only. Tickets on sale tomorrow."

Link takes you to Studio Seaview site.

He's taking over for Garry Starr in the naked Penguin Classics show. It'll sell out in seconds. 🙃

The dates and times are up on the Studio Seaview site on the calendar now, they're just not linked to anything

Ah, that's why they held off until November for Spring Awakening. I feel like this just came together and was finalized. Why else wait until a month before performances begin to announce it and have tickets not even be on sale?

super strategic work on the part of andrew's team - remind folks what a powerhouse performance you are giving in Vanya just in time for Awards Season. I hear Elisonore is excellent.

They added bars on their calendar for where the shows would go in late October. Now they're gone - and nothing from Studio Seaview.

The only thing Studio Seaview related, in the past few days, is upset actors. SS / director Danya Taymor sent rejection emails to everyone who auditioned for Spring Awakening. The actors are posting on social media reading the email etc.. The email allegedly includes details of where/how they could purchase tickets to the show (same as anyone else). That didn't seem to go over well - not sure what these performers were expecting. It was clearly a publicity stunt.

Maybe SS us doing a 'Public Works' community version of VANYA , casting all of the scorned Spring Awakening auditionees.

The production did cast performers from that open call; at least two, from what I have heard. Nobody is “scorned.” They saw, what, over 1000 kids? They can’t give them all tickets or cast even 1% of them.

"...everyone finally shut up, and the audience could enjoy the beginning of the Anatevka Pogram in peace."

If these kids are serious about pursuing a theater career, they might want to think twice about posting videos, complaining about and/or bashing theater companies and casting agencies.
