I attended something like this recently for La La Land, and it was pretty cool! It felt like watching a stage musical or a roadshow film musical because they included an overture, an intermission, and an entr'acte before the second half of the film (none of these were part of La La Land's original theatrical release), and the end credits felt like exit music with the live orchestra. So exciting! I've always wanted Lincoln Center to do a revival of this show, especially after South Pacific, The King and I, and My Fair Lady! I've actually never seen a show on Broadway, but this is definitely one I'd fly to NYC to experience. I'm excited a Black actress will take on the role of Maria. Watching a Black actress play Nancy in the West End revival of Oliver! I saw last summer really brought layers to the character I hadn't noticed or thought about before.

Oh my goodness! The way I have been manifesting a Sound of Music revival starring Rachel Zegler! Especially since her Snow White felt like a version of Maria von Trapp, particularly her scenes with the seven dwarfs. I hope this comes to fruition!

It's a beautiful, delightful, and magical film! I loved it, and Rachel is spectacular. It's a colorful movie as well. I think what I loved about it the most is the structure of the movie as a musical. I think it looks like a magical fairy tale musical, and I'm really excited for it!

After 2 decades of waiting, I finally saw WICKED PART 1 last night! It was a beautiful film! If you're a fan of the stage musical, then this movie is for you! I just need part 2 ASAP!

It's a 2 hour and 40 minute film. We've seen maybe a combined 10 minutes at most since the Super Bowl teaser trailer launched.
