Does anyone else think Shoshana has a strong chance to win Featured Actress? I haven't seen The Lost Boys, and I know it's divisive, but this is her third Tony nom in five years, and all have been in this category. I feel like she could have an "overdue" narrative of sorts that leads her to a win.

Looking at the current ticket prices, I'm so glad I bought tickets for her closing day the hour she was announced.

The Bowen rumor never seemed likely to me, unless it was for like a very limited two-week or so run during the holidays. Bowen has become one of the big MVPs of SNL, and I cannot imagine how he would do a 8 show week while doing that, and they certainly aren't giving him time off for it.

Saw this on Saturday night. I found the production incredibly moving from the very first moments. The energy on stage is absolutely electric, in no small part due to the incredible cast. Having not seen the actual performance, something interesting I noticed in one of the audio recordings of "If You Could See Her" is after Billy said the "jewish" line reveal, there was no audible reaction from the audience. Nevertheless, he inserted the "really??" as if the audience had laughed. It is my understanding that Adam started adding that when audiences were laughing at the line. Saw this over the weekend and really loved it. Such beauty in it's simplicity, while also having wonderful tech elements. Really impressed how it's turned it's fate around financially, it really deserves it. Hoping it gets some well-deserved recognition come Tony time.

Saw it last night. A few minor issues, but my thoughts can be boiled down to this: When adapting this musical to film, “Defying Gravity” is undoubtedly the trickiest part. Done even a little bit wrong, it could look so stupid. That number is the litmus test for this entire two-part extravaganza. To “prove its worth,” if you will. They ****ing nailed it.
