Hi y’all! I am planning on auditioning for a local production of The Crucible and i am in need a monologue. I am in my 30’s but read younger on stage and female. I am not auditioning for a specific part. Would just like to be considered for the show. Do y’all have some recommendations that are similar to the show? Thanks :)
I saw it on tour and fell in love with it. I love bluegrass music though- so it’s right up my alley. It’s one of the recordings I listen to frequently. Such an underrated gem.
I would skip the extreme sides for Beetlejuice based off of what I’ve read on this board and when I saw the show. The Winter Garden is huge and for this show there are a lot of tech elements. For what it’s worth, I got a ticket to Beetlejuice for a Sunday Matinee for $60 from tkts. Seat was located in the Center Orchestra about 16 rows back.
I don’t know if this is the right place to ask this, there is any way for me to get an oklahoma playbill? Like if i write to the theatre? I would really like one even though I didnt get to see it because of the blackout.
I had tickets for oklahoma! tonight. I don’t live in nyc so I’m a little bummed but what can you do? I was at dinner with a friend and thankfully got to pay before it went out completely. I’m happy I wasn't stuck on an elevator or a subway which I’ve heard are insane. I did get to see Frozen this afternoon which I thought was magical! It’s been an interesting day- won’t forget it anytime soon.
