Who do you think has been the best Broadway.com backstage vlogger?
I loved the Laura Osnes Cinderella 2013 vlogs and Leslie Odom Jr's Hamilton vlogs

Jackie Hoffman for sure and Lesli Margherita. Nobody can compare.

Jackie Hoffman.
I will say, the girl from Beetlejuice recently was a hoot and one of my favs. And Mike Wartella, but that could be because he’s just so damn cute.

I'll have to check out Jackie Hoffman's. Agreed on Leslie Kritzer -- she's hilarious. She's super funny in Beetlejuice too, I just saw it last weekend.

For those that don't already know the latest Broadway.com vlog "Behind The Stripes: BTS of DEH with Andrew Bart Feldman" just posted Ep. 1 yesterday.
I liked What Dill with Gideon Glick but that's mostly bc I love Gideon's personality and could listen to him for hours lol. I appreciated the interviews he did with cast/crew even if they were on more serious side/topics (for TKAM) than traditional vlog. It was very insightful.

Alex Brightman's vlog for School of Rock is by far my favorite bwaycom vlogger. He introduces you to the entire cast, including the kids; answers fan questions; shows the rush line; and most of all entertains you for 15 mins each week!

Jackie. Hoffman.
If the entire production of THE ADDAMS FAMILY had to occur just for those vlogs, it’s okay. “Fan maaaaaaail!”. Also another favorite moment is when she puts Bebe Neuwirth’s old chaise lounge in her tiny dressing room.
Lesli Margherita’s MATILDA vlog was also pretty fabulous.

Jackie Hoffman's vlog also basically confirmed some rumors that had been swirling around the production at the time... that Nathan was not a happy camper, that Jerry Zaks had completely taken over as Director (without the title), etc.

It's a shame they weren't able to fix that show. I don't even think the tour was an improvement. They ended up adding more songs and I think they needed to just cut a few songs and it might have worked better.

Jackie Hoffman. I even want to say that it was so well loved it is the only one to have over 10 episodes.

I was about to come in here to say that I loved her Miss Saigon vlogs. She was refreshingly frank and un-glamorous. Her early Hadestown vlogs had a similar, fun energy but it seems that she realized halfway through that she didn't have the time or energy to see it through to the end, which is fine. It might've been easier for her to do it now rather than at the height of Tony season.

About that...have they cancelled Matt Rodin opening night challenges? Because I haven't seen one in a WHILE. And we've had plenty of opening nights recently. That was one of the most clever things they've don and I'm sad to see it gone.

I was sad The Band's Visit never had one– Sharone Sayegh would've been excellent. I always loved watching her backstage instagram stories!

Re the opening night challenges, there was one not too long ago for The Great Society.

I believe Laura Osnes and Rob McClure each did 16+ videos for their vlogs but I could be mistaken

I'd say in order of entertainment value:
- Jackie Hoffman
- Leslie Margarita
- Laura Osnes (This one worked soley on the chemistry and playfulness of Osnes and Santino Fontana)
The ones that work best are the ones where the actor/actress essentially creates a Curb Your Enthusiasm, style heightened caricature of themselves. I'd say Ms Osnes is the exception to this as she's just such a nice and genuine person, but her segments with Santino and the goldfish are where it really soared). This is why Leslie Kritzer's seemed to work better as she got further into the vlogs with her "Cats quest".
It unfortunate that Jackie wasn't given the vlog spots for On the Town and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, to extend her "Fannnn Mailll" segments, akin to Leslie Margarita's extensions of Looks not Books with Ship Happens. What I would of done to see Hoffman's take of being nominated for Primetime Emmy while playing the 12th most important principal out of 10 principals in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
Over all though, as I said above its comedian's that are most entertaining when it comes to vlogging. The traditional vlogging is interesting for maybe a video or two, but they are a dime a dozen.

I'll have to check out Jackie's and Laura's vlogs. I've never seen them because I didn't see either show they were in at the time.
Anyway, my favorite that I've seen is Ramin Karimloo's "24601" vlogs. Ramin, Andrew Kober, and Will Swensen chilling on the couch was great.

I'm going to echo the popular sentiment with Jackie Hoffman. Those Addams Family vlogs were hysterical. From gazing out the window to the ever changing signs across the street to scrolling through all the Tony nominations the show didn't get, that vlog never failed to make me laugh.
I do enjoy Leslie Kritzer's recurring house usher character and the expanding lore of the Winter Garden Theatre. That was ::chef's kiss::

He doesn’t work for Broadwaycom anymore and it was his creation. He still does then intermittently, but not as often. His most recent one was for Freestyle Love Supreme. https://youtu.be/z3mq4wJl3YM
