"They’re still going to see Santa and Broadway"

I will take a pass on the pan demic version. Hopefully next year will be different
Next year's parade could also offer a glimpse of what's to come when B'way does fully reopen. This could be an interesting plan, remember when Newsies and Cinderella performed months before opening in NYC?
It'll likely be based off on who's available. Might just be some solo numbers. Adrienne Warren from TINA, Elizabeth Stanley from JAGGED, Aaron Tveit from MOULIN ROUGE. Or just B-roll footage from certain shows.
Is CBS still going through with their telecast?

Last I heard they are. Partly taped and part live with no spectators.
Meanwhile political protests continue unabated with thousands marching or rioting with no masks or social distancing. .Surprisingly this does not spread Co Vid . Meanwhile some poor restaurant goes under because they surprisingly cannot survive with 25% capacicity. Cuomo MIA here along with Big Bird . Guess some people have more rights than others

TINA performed last year, but given the dearth of possible new shows to advertise, they might perform again. Has any Broadway show every performed at more than one parade?

If you count both the NBC and CBS broadcasts, yes.

Wish someone would take away your right to type
Just came across this and it looks Dear Evan Hansen and Come From Away are performing on the CBS broadcast.
My thoughts are with the CBS social media team, who are about to be flooded with messages now that Chad Kimball will assumedly be performing on the telecast. What timing!

I can guarantee you that no one outside from this board cares (or even knows who Chad Kimball is for that matter).

I wouldn't be surprised if the "Come From Away" performance was "Me and the Sky". It's really the only solo number of the show, and they wouldn't have to have Chad Kimball or any of the men.

The press release says the performance is "Somewhere in the Middle of Nowhere."
Which is the exact same number that they performed on the CBS *2017* Thanksgiving Parade, though. So interested to see if the press release is wrong, if they're just re-airing the 2017 footage, or if they're actually going to do a new performance of that number this year.

I had the same thought since neither Come From Away and Dear Evan Hansen have acknowledged that they are performing. Also, the press release mentions the broadcast will be focusing on throwback segments.

Has there been any word about what time the two performances are happening on the CBS broadcast? I’ve been on the NBC one all morning but I don’t want to miss CFA and DEH.
Good Lord that was awful from Jagged Little Pill. Came across like bad community theatre that costumed via an Old Navy holiday sale. And the vocals? Ouch.
I am thrilled to see "live" theatre no matter what form but is that excerpt a true reflection of the show?
Trying to figure out where they filmed that? What theater was Jagged in front of?
In terms of costumes, they used their own clothes. no costumes from the actual show were allowed.

Is that the same for Mean Girls? See the pictures tells me yes? And why?
That “Jagged Little Pill” performance was...terrible.

It looks like it was filmed outside of the Paramount hotel, but I could be wrong.
I’m not sure that’s true regarding the costumes... that’s how the show is designed and they were wearing clothes similar to their costumes. Hamilton was surely in their costumes from the show, no? Unless the Schuyler Sisters have those dresses laying around...

They are performing in front of the Paramount Hotel across from The Richard Rodgers Theatre.
