Phantom of the Opera
Les Miz
Wicked
All have their merits, but I found them either overrated or just plain tedious.

CATS
Kiss of the Spider Woman-without a star as the Aurora, the show is a dud IMO.

Rent resembles Hair in that you really had to be there at the beginning to get into it. It was the experience more than it was the show. Anyone who saw it a year after it opened on Broadway really didn't get the full experience.

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

Gotham---huh? I saw the original cast. Hated it.
And how could it possibly lasted for 12 years if ONLY the first year folks "got it"? That doesn't make sense to me. My HS students which CERTAINLY didn't see it in it's first year are certainly "into it" and have been for years....and that's no different than your average HS theater kid.

Rent
Spring Awakening
Billy Elliot
Ragtime
and Frank Wildhorn/Hampton/Black's DRACULA, the musical. Like the music/songs, but vaguely remember being confused about the specifics of the story/wasn't a good telling of the story!
