The following is at the top of their items for today:

"Charity is not so Sweet for one ex-Whoviller. When we hear Who, there will be one, not two."

There are two former Seussical cast members in Charity: Natascia Diaz, who is playing Nickie, and Joyce Chittick, who is in the ensemble, and who is the understudy for Nickie. Guess they might be making a change?

The top of whose items? What? This doesn't make any sense.

I have no idea what you're trying to say.

So is Natascia being fired and Joyce moved up from ensemble to Nickie? That what it sounds like to me . . .

I'll be SO disappointed if this happens. The only reason why she'd get the boot is because of in-fighting. I know Natascia doesn't have the BEST rep but she's really very good in her role. For that matter so is Joyce C in her role.

That will just really make me sad.

munk, broadwaystars is a site that posts "blind items," where they give you news but youre supposed to figure out what theyre really trying to say and who it references.

I *REALLY* hope that doesn't happen. I absolutely adore Natascia and will be very upset...especially after hearing only great things about her work in this show.

I used to visit BroadwayStars until I found this site. Stars misses a lot of articles that I have found on here without having to go all over the net. I guess the theater search engine for broadwayworld.com does a better job at picking out stories? Who knows.

I'd be surprised too... Haven't seen her in Charity, but she's always very good.

I love her too, really good actress/singer.

And I also love the newer even-less-comprehending Munkie that we're seeing lately! "What? I do not understand what it is that you are trying to say. Huh?"

so PageSix had a "blind" item recently about two male divas. evidentually they dislike each other so much they are alternately calling out. Any ideas who this is?

Riedel covered that one: Daniel Davis and Gary Beach.

on the davis /beach issue- is there any pattern they follow as to which isn't showing up? Since if i would prefer to see beach in his role.

I've never worked with her - so I can't speak of what it's like to work with her, but it has been my experience that she has always been very personable.

As far as the BEACH/DAVIS issue is concerned, I dont BELIEVE it for a second. Saw the show a week and a half ago. I have a friend who is MUTUAL friends with both of them and was told it is completly false. THE PREVIOUS week to when I saw it Davis was VERY VERY sick and missed the majority of the weeks performaces. THAT SAME WEEK Beach missed only several performances because he was busy taping THE PRODUCERS movie and was scheduled to be out well enough in advance. Haven't been any rumblings since, other than Gavin missing a show because of illness as well.

Reidel deserves to be lambasted himself for what he is single handedly doing to Bway. The only thing he has can possibly justify critisizing over the last 2 yrs is the amount of shows Donna Murphy missed (and GOOD VIBRATIONS.) Ugh, he needs a good talkin to by someone and quick, or another smack down at the bar in Angus! Updated On: 2/26/05 at 01:43 PM

I can't put any faith in blind items - if something is true, write about it straightforwardly, if you're guessing or spreading gossip, say so. Blind items are cheating. I recently saw one that could have easily been interpreted as being about a film I worked on, and knew it to be untrue, at least about my show.
