SPRING AWAKENING CD Signing Set for Jan. 10

The Times Square Virgin Megastore will host a CD signing for the new Spring Awakening cast recording Jan. 10.

Composer Duncan Sheik, lyricist-librettist Steven Sater and members of the cast will be on hand for the signing, which is scheduled for 5-6 PM. There will be no performance at the store. The Times Square Virgin Megastore is located at 1540 Broadway, between 45th and 46th Streets.

I extremely dislike Lea Michele. I liked her at first and even bought the cast recording, but last night I was listening to a podcast with her & John Gallagher being interviewed and she was absolutely terrible. She insulted films that have been brought to Broadway, Disney Broadway musicals, the upcoming Shrek, and jukebox musicals. And she dropped an F-bomb. I hope she gets snubbed at the Tony's and Ashley Brown wins, just to prove her wrong, and that Disney musicals are 100x better than her stupid porno live! show. I mean I really hate the entire musical now because of her. I hope it flops ; )

Lizzya9...why do you hate every person that does not like a Disney show. Ashley Brown WILL NOT win the tony for best actress. Who cares about Shrek and Mary Poppins...who cares! She cursed. BIG WOOP! She is human and can do what she wants. I thought she was fantastic in SA and was not only nice after the show but genuine, and stopped and talked with you. SA is not a stupid porno live show. The scenes that involve nudity are art, unlike dancing on the freaking celing.

first off I just have to say, dont hate the musical just because you dont like HER! If you dont like her, thats fine and everyone's entitled to their opinion, but the show is NOT just her :) by saying that you're basically saying that you hope all the cast is out of a job just because you dont like Lea as a person (do you even dislike her as a performer? because if you dont thats REALLY silly)

and um... I have no problem with people cursing a little, but thats just me... I think its cause I'm so used to Idina Menzel, who... can have quite the potty mouth when she wants to and when it is appropriate (like in her concerts and stuff) Oh, well we're on that subject, Lea loves Idina, so yay! hehe

and I happen to absolutely positively ADORE lea as a performer. She's unbelievable. And watching/hearing her sing Whispering RIGHT in front of me (since I was in the front row to the left)? oooh my god. It was so amazing and gave me such chills.

First of all I am 14 so yes I am old enough to comprehend SA because we are the age group the show is about anyway. I really loved it at first but I cannot like a show if the star is someone I can't respect.

Yes I know she's human but in a professional interview where her fans are listening she should not curse, I don't care if she does in her personal life or not.

There is nothing wrong with liking Disney shows or the rest I listed, just like there is nothing wrong with you liking Spring Awakening. You guys don't have to be mean, example: "I will be the first to rub it in your face", etc., I was just stating my opinion, and you can state yours. Isn't that what message boards are for, anyway?? I never said anything mean TO anyone on this board, I was just saying I dislike HER, not YOU, so I don't know why you are so offended. I mean you saying that films that have been brought to Broadway, Disney Broadway musicals, the upcoming Shrek, and jukebox musicals are bad, example being "maybe she has good taste" is no different than me saying I don't like SA. It's just MY opinion that Disney is better, that's all. And it's YOUR opinion that the nudity in the show is "art". OK?!?! Crap you guys really need to chill. If I had said that same thing about a Disney show most of you probably would have wholeheartedly agreed, but just because this show is trying to be all controversial and alternative you automatically think it's cool. Looks like YOU are the ones acting like "little girls".
