Another month for JCM!

I would die if Rebecca Naomi Jones was Yitzhak.
I bought great seats within 30 seconds of them being added to telecharge lol

Amazing! I don't know how you people living in NYC are going to keep any money.
I don't even live in NYC !!! I live across the country lol!
Jumped on this - been wanting to see JCM in the show, just never pulled the trigger. There is a selfish part of me that hopes he doesn't extend again so that I get to see his last performance on the 26th!

I'm thrilled but my bank account is so ****ed. Just got a premium seat for April 26.
Uh...can I interest anyone in an orchestra ticket on March 14? :)

I still think the "last" performance, March 14th at 10 will still be rocking since everyone who truly loves JCM/Hedwig had already bought their tickets.
Will Lena extend with him?
I was on hold with Telecharge for 15 minutes but they did exchange my last row orchestra ticket for a third row seat on his (new) last performance. Thrilled.

Rebecca would be a killer Yitzhak, hoping it works out!
As per Lena extending with John, the Broadway.com article said she continues in the role. Would be nice to have them end together!!
I'll sell for face value: $155.25. Seat Q101 on 3/14 at 10pm.
I thought of that Stew but I think most of them will most of them will move to April 26 like me and TotallyEffed.
Love Rebecca. That would be a great recast.

Nooo, don't move it because I can't go on the 26th!

Count me in as one who switched to April 26. This is why I didn't make flight plans yet.
This one kind of hurt since I got in on the premium before it jumped 100 bucks. Oh well, this will be totally worth all my money!
Now how am I going to wait an extra month?!
I'm going broke on Hedwig too! I commiserate with everyone. I did win the lottery once, and I was thrilled that I got to see John's first Broadway performance as Hedwig for a reasonable outlay. But all the other times (four) I paid full price! Ouch!
There should be some kind of punch card situation - buy 5 get 1 free would help!
I didn't really need my 4th of July in Provincetown, right?
^^^ Great idea! Kind of like getting a free soup at Hale and Hearty!
At least I've racked up some Audience Rewards points.

So any chance that the extension will allow for Alan Cumming to take over after Cabaret ends? It works for the rehearsal schedule! Ok maybe this is just a dream of mine but it could work!
Look how amazing he could be!

^Amazing!!! I love how heavy his accent is :)
Alan Cumming seems a pretty logical choice. It appears from the previous casting choices that the creative team is upholding the integrity of the show by bringing in legit performers rather than stunt casting, even though most have been enough of a marquee name to drum up interest from the public.
Really glad to hear this. I should be able to see it during a late April visit now. Woohoo!
Question for the regulars: is there any advantage to seeing either the early or late show on the weekend? Lighter crowds, more performer energy, or anything else? Need to book my tickets right away.
One advantage to 10 pm is you can also see The Visit at the Lyceum at 8 pm, and make it to the Belasco one block away by 9:45 pm.
I went to his first Saturday 10pm show expecting (hoping for) a raucous crowd. No dice. Lovely audience but nothing special.
I was at the same show, I thought it was pretty wild .... especially the shy Asian girl who ate out Hedwig from the front row lol
