Great night for Moulin Rouge!
SHERYL. IS. STUNNUNG.
I'm hearing whispers the Dreamgirls revival is back in the works...anyone else? Apparently Amber Riley is still attached.

Jennifer Holliday, 40 years later, in the same sort of outfit. Wow.
I love her, facial expressions and alllll!
Gotta respect she can still sing it!
sheryl lee ralph is such a drag queen and i LOVE IT.
I was hoping she was going to announce a Dreamgirls revival tho.
Love that she is doing it in character. She looks so different from that stunning Central Park performance.
God, she sounds amazing. There’s only one Jennifer.
Man I hate that this performance is happening DOWN THE STREET FROM ME and I’m not there.

I really hope so. One of my favorite things I saw in ‘19. Quite possibly my favorite actually. But just checked the website and didn’t see anything but tour dates listed so far. I’d guess if it was coming back more info will come in Oct since performances would start in Nov."
I hope so too! I could've sworn I heard next year for A Christmas Carol. Unless they'll decide to surprise us with a list of dates closer/around 2022?

They announced in October 2020 their intentions to return to Broadway for the 2021 holiday season, but that has since been scrapped in favor of the mini-tour along the west coast. In the recent casting announcement for those productions, though, the producers stated that they still hope to return to New York/Broadway in the coming years.

Best Musical and Best Play are the two awards that are being shown on the telecast?
Even Jake and Hiddleson are there…

And Best Revival of a Play.
I should have gone and watched the Red Carpet. Maybe I should run over and watch them leave. To the people who were skipping watching this, you may have regrets.

I didn't love (or particularly like) The Inheritance, but I can't argue with Smith, the direction, nor Burnap. All deserving.

The drama of a non-award could have been delicious but congrats to Aaron.
