Aside from a tiny bit of Karaoke, Frank doesnt sing in the show so doesnt need an actor who can sing. All the actor really needs to do is stand there firm, look sterm, and say a few lines.
Heathers attendance in London hasn't been great, and considering how its sales slid in London after a few months, some bankable names wouldnt do the show any harm.
I've been giving Heather the benefit of the doubt because this is her first musical in more than 5 years. Hopefully, her stint in London has gotten her accustomed to the 8 show week again maybe her attendance on Broadway will be better.
I'm sorry I love Beyonce for what she does onstage for her live concerts, but I'd be highly upset with her trying Broadway. A musical has singing as well as acting and Beyonce isn't seasoned for the acting portion. To be honest I don't believe she would be able to sustain these songs eight shows a week.
I think Felicia Boswell would be fantastic as Rachel and I could see Brian D'Arcy James as Frank.
justincharacter, I know she speaks English. I watched videos of her singing "I Will Always Love You" and "One Moment in Time". All I was saying is that if she doesn't get cast in the Broadway production, maybe the Dutch production of the show.
How bout 'Tasia as Rachel. Does Rachel sweat a lot?
