Ha, I specifically came into this thread to post about Jennifer Laura Thompson as Christine in DRS but it looks like I was beaten to it several times over.
And I just mentioned this in another thread but (despite being too old for the part) I'd love to see Norbert as Robbie Hart in TWS.
"While I've always admired Cleavant Derricks as a performer, I think it's a little bit of a stretch suggest he play Collins, if only for the fact that he's fifty-three years old."
Well said.

I may be crazy, but I think Ashley Brown would make a good Julia in TWS.

Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.

"I think a intresting cast of Rent would be as follows Mark: Antonio Banderas Roger: Ewan McGregor Collins: Will Farrel Benny: Rick Lyon Angel: (I have no idea) Mimi: Madonna JoanaI have no idea) Maureen: Linsey Lohan
Tell me what you think Intresting cast?"
If by "interesting" you mean extreamly painful, then yes, I agree with you.

LOL!! You just made my day. But NO WAY to the cast though.
I agree Megan as a Holly for sure good fit I would like to see that... and Ashley ..may be not so comic for the part in TWS, I think Tina Madigan is just so perfect as a Julia replacement , she has so taken that role and made it..I think Tina as Glinda 2 ...I asked her once if she had gone in for Glinda and she said she has never auditioned 4 Wicked!! HELLO
call me f-ing crazy but... Lance Bass as Mark in Rent
Hey Homie-G

Katie Clarke as Glinda? Hmmm. Actually that would be REALLY interesting! It would be a leap, but I think she could pull it off! I think we're going to see some surprising things from her.
