Not quite fitting, but...

My favorite has always been:

DOLLIES!

The reunion of ex-Dolly stars the night before the demise of the St. James theater. An all star cast including: Carol Channing, Ethyl Merman (I know, I know), Pearl Bailey (please), Barbra Streisand (she makes a cameo on film)... well, you get the idea!
