You stand in line with them and you're the first in line for 10PM even though your not the first in the entire line. When the 7PM line dissipates then there will be a singular 10PM line. I think you're thinking about this a bit too hard. Just go around 4, and announce that you're in line for the 10PM show. Everything else will work itself out.
haterobics makes a really great point in that there really is no way to absolutely guarantee you will get tickets by rushing. I just depends on how many people decide to show up early- if enough have the same idea and show up early then...

Sorry for asking so many questions. Do you know how many standing room tickets they sell each showing

it varies, sometimes its 20, sometimes its 7.
They will usually send out someone from the box office and announce how many tickets are available. The last time I rushed they came out and counted, told the person in line that was it and told everyone behind them there were no more tickets.
Not sure how they are handling it now or if it is the same.

Just finished the Hedwig SRO ticket line (they sold the tickets early today because of the PR Day Parade and the Tony Awards). Anyway, right before they moved us to where the House Manager wanted the line, someone from the line had left their trash on the side walk. The HM asked us to pass on that if the SRO LINE continues to leave trash around they will stop doing SRO. So please, clean up after yourselves. Just passing on the info.

How many SRO spots did they sell today?
This HM sounds power hunger honestly

Not sure, about 18 I would guess, there were a lot of people together buying single tickets (2 people buying 1 ticket each).

Trying to figure out how early to get to the theatre for SRO on Wednesday night
Any guesses

There were 17 SRO spots for the matinee today. I got there at 9am and got the 12th and 13th tickets given out, but I would have been even further back as someone ahead of me in line won the lotto.
Was right there with ya, ( right in front of you, I think) and the show was electric!!! Loved the special Playbills too, with the rainbow coloring!!!

Is 10:30AM Wednesday morning too late for SRO for Wednesday night?

They basically took all the awards they were nominated for, if you think 10 am is safe, go for it!!!!!
Honestly, I am guessing that you'll have to be there by 6AM now to be assured of getting a ticket ! I was there at around 8:40 yesterday, and there were around 9 ppl in front of me !

Did anybody line up for yesterday's evening show? I am wondering what time I should get in line.
Now that it won everything and it's the summer? Sunrise?

we did SRO Saturday before the Tonys...got there at 1pm..and alternated through 615pm. At 1pm we were 4th in line. Sold 20. The house manager was just doing his job and making sure everyone picked up trash and etc. There is a restaurant right next door to the theater so I'm sure the Belasco is concerned about complaints. Don't know why they don't organize the line in the other direction (but that might conflict with the lottery drawing. Would make more sense for them to sell SRO when the box office opens so as not to disturb the nearby restaurant.
Funny about Sunrise being the legit time to show up..who knows now...glad I got to see it twice..1st time with lottery, 2nd time with SRO.

I think the hot shows do it right before showtime so that you can't get them at 10 a.m., and have 9ish hours to resell them on StubHub/craigslist for more money.

I did SRO yesterday, while they only had 9 spots to sell, the line surprisingly didn't fill up until 11am.
Sorry, yes this was for the evening show, so tickets weren't sold until 7:15pm. It was also somewhat rainy in the morning, so maybe people were deterred by the weather.
Also someone who had gotten there after noon got in after someone from the SRO line won the lotto.

viola13, was this for the matinee or evening show?
HEDWIG doesn't have Wednesday matinees, so this would have been for the 8pm performance.

I'm going to try for the Hedwig lotto tonight. Wish me luck.

How did it go?? Did anyone else go yesterday or today even? Trying to figure out what time to go tomorrow or next weekend.

No luck. There was about 100 people there. They drew 10 names. I went back Saturday for the 10pm showing and also did not win. I am going to try both today. My theater buddy is not free today so I am going to do a solo today so lets see how that goes. I might just get 2 tickets and see if there is another single who wants it if I win.

You can also buddy up with a single. I have done it and gotten in.
