Was thing announced? I can't find any info on casting and the show is less than a month away (I realized the rehearsal period is short but usually the leads are announced by now). Anyone know?
I know they might bring an ensemble in a little early for a particularly dance heavy show (I think No, No Nanette had some of the cast in early for that reason), but I'm not sure if that'd be the case here.
When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain.

Yankee, I actually can't tell if you're being serious or not, possibly just because I find it so, so strange that they haven't announced anyone yet but find it even stranger that they wouldn't announce at all.
Is it conceivable that the cast has so few "names" that announcing it would be worse than announcing no one at all?
I mean--I'm going no matter what--the score is to die for. It just gives me the weirds.
I thought they announced the cast for last season's On the Town relatively close to the show's run, and a quick google check brought up an article from exactly a year ago in Variety with a cast announcement. So I imagine the cast for Girl Crazy will be announced within the week. There was another thread that said Becki Newton and her husband were going to be in the show.

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.
