Absence.
Methinks BroadwayWorld should have mastered English before it started broadcasting in 51 other languages.
I hope he takes care of his abscess

Now I REALLY wanna see the show! I loved this guy on My Hero!
Once again the BE press team waiting til practically the last minute to make the announcement.
They probably couldn't say anything until all the T's were crossed and I's dotted on the agreement to bring Whitchurch in. Maybe it just took longer than expected?
Eh...I'd think that but that doesn't explain them also not announcing David Alvarez's departure what...3 days before?
Yeah - I don't know about that one. Fans of the show seemed to know David was leaving around that time but they never had an exact date. I just chalked it up to the fact that they never let anyone know in advance when any of the boys was performing - even if it is his last performance.
Fair enough - but if I'm remembering correctly I remember Kiril's last show being announced significantly earlier than say David or Tommy. He also got his own article on playbill the day of/after he left, and David did not.
Regardless of the show, it's not that uncommon that fans get the heads-up about cast changes well before press releases go out.
That's why I'm glad I've had my ticket for sunday evening.
Was he the original Dad on the recording?
No, that was Tim Healy. Philip Whitchurch was the first replacement in London, I think.

What I find kind of cool is that with Trent, who is supposedly leaving soon, Phillip will have played Trent's father on his final performance in London and on Broadway.
