Cinderella is really pulling them in and Poppin is benefitting from the final weeks before it closes, Newsies had a good week but I guess they benefitted from being from being having a performance on the holiday Monday.
This was a vacation week for a lot of schools in the Northeast, or at the very least a long weekend. Hence, why the family-oriented shows all pulled in good numbers.

I know. I was worried about it opening in a large theatre during the winter season. I'm glad to see it doing well. I'm interested to see what the critics say. I want to make absolutely it's worth seeing before buying tickets for my trip to NYC this May. But maybe I will still go because 'Wicked' opened to mixed reviews but I still enjoyed it.
"Ann" is one of the shows I want to see when I visit NYC (June 7-10). It's special to me because Ann Richards was the last reasonable governor in our state, before darkness set in (Bush-Perry). I actually met her at a campaign event in 1988. I have her autograph somewhere in a box. But I digress. Although I hope that "Ann" can hold on till June, that 28% is ominous. Sigh. from RC in Austin, Texas
"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)
I would expect Poppins to due quite well for it's final week. The $73 discount hasn't been valid in weeks for all shows during it's final week. And according to ticketmaster, all 8 shows are nearly sold-out. Probably a good week to attempt SRO for this show.
