someone mentioned in the preview thread that about 100 people were there for 20 tix.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
I'm also curious how it will affect the lotto that the first two rows in the center orchestra were for sale during the Audience Rewards pre-sale. I know I'm in Row AA on the aisle...
Actually, just searched for tickets in August as a test and the whole front row shows up as available for purchase?! And the page announcing the lottery says it is "All tickets are subject to availability."
I went Wednesday afternoon to try lottery. Probably 35 people there for 20 tickets. My name was called third. But they also had a ton of $39 partial view seats and $45 orchestra seats available and they were talking those up.
I had two friends buy partial views for Thursday night's show 35 minutes before curtain.
I lost the lotto last night, and got a $45 lotto loser ticket. It was in the FRONT ROW on the left side. AMAZING view, and the actors told us to stand up and get "in on the action" during the fight, and they interacted with us throughout. I personally think it was better than if I had sat on the bleachers.
On another note, I saw this show during previews, and they did a good deal of work on fine tuning and cleaning the show. It is amazing IMO, and I like it much better than If/Then. I really recommend it.
EDIT: There were maybe 50-75 people there for 20 tix. A good deal lined up for the Partial view/$45 seats. I STRONGLY recommend spending the extra $6...Partial view for this show wouldn't be fun because of how the proscenium is shaped.

Ok. So the lottery had a decent crowd yesterday. My friend and I lost, but we decided to go with the lotto losers seats. The box office man told us that the partial view seats are EXTREMELY partial, so he encouraged us to go for the $55 full view orchestra. We received the front row side seats, and they were amazing! Yes, they interacted with us and told us to stand up throughout the entire fight. The seats seem to be $10 more on the weekend.
