The Roberts Court was already bad as being a noted pro-corporation court but now with these latest decisions that include lying to pregnant women, siding with anti-gay bakers despite explicit non-discrimination clauses by not actually getting into the meat of the issue, gerrymandering to oppress minorities, and the Muslim ban which will be looked on as our generation's Korematsu case, it's clear that it's not just corporate economic interests that this Court cares about...much like many of the right who claim it's only about the "economy".
Today’s ruling regarding unions is another 5-4 decision...all of these recent 5-4 decisions would have gone very differently had it been Merrick Garland, not Neil Gorsuch, on the bench. These are all the result of a stolen seat, something we must not forget.
Justice Kennedy is retiring. We are beyond screwed. Hope all those Trump/Stein/Bernie or Busters on this forum are proud of themselves. Seriously, you all should be ashamed of yourselves.
When it rains it pours these days. With Justice Kennedy announcing his retirement, Trump and the neocons will get another pick for the high court. Please let Justices Breyer and Ginsburg hold on until at least the 116th Congress can convene in Jan.

I know. My colleague's text was laced with sarcasm. Nevertheless, the man changes his mind at least 7 times a day depending on the last person in his presence. And a helluva lot has happened since the campaign, from Russiagate to double digit indictments. Earlier in my life, I couldn't imagine someone like Chris Christie or Jeff Sessions being considered by a sitting president but these are strange times. The name Trump has never been synonymous with convention so I submit that we brace ourselves for the mother of all "wtf" nominations.
Well, given Don’s love of television personalities like himself, it would not surprise me in the least if he were to nominate Judge Jeanine Pirro, as Don Jr. posited on Twitter today.

I hope the morons who nominated Clinton are especially cherishing the moment.

So I'm the moron because I voted for the person who received the most votes in the primaries (of ANY candidate from EITHER party) AND won the popular vote? Get out of here.
Clinton lost to Dump, can you imagine how bad she would've lost to a normal Republican, sad days indeed for us who supported Sanders, voted for Hillary, who couldn't beat this. That popular vote dosen't matter now does it, and even so it wasn't by all that much. Let's run her again in 2020.

No one, not even the most ardent Clinton supporters, has suggested running her again in 2020 (if we even hold elections by that point). Why do you keep bringing that up?

Because ragging on Clinton makes them some how feel better about the position they put all of us in. They are lucky Sanders lost in the primaries because they feel safe in their fantasies about how the 2016 election would have went for him once the Republicans and their bots played dirty.

But this in-fighting is so much more productive! Especially if you're a fan of losing."
Nothing we write in this thread is productive.

As always, an incomprehensible post."
What South FL is saying is that he didn't start it and why bother bashing Trump, Stein, or Bernie or Bust supporters on BWW because there are only like three of them on this forum.
Thanks for translating Scotty. We should stop that battle. Until I was bothered by LYL's statement I had not bothered to see how Bernie voters voted in the general. Apparently the switches that were made to Trump were one in ten which is outrageous. If "Bernie Bros." cost us the election than I'm saddened as I'm sure Bernie is. I never knew a "Bernie Bro", but I wonder if the bots weren't responsible for a lot of that. In any case, yeah LYL has a point, we should all accept responsibility.
