When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain.

All I've read and heard is that this guy is an asshole. Glad he produces what he produces, but not worth the job for that kind of money and stress. Next!
This position is posted almost weekly on Playbill Jobs. If I was guaranteed unemployment benefits after being fired within 3 - 6 months, I would consider it.

LOL who the f does he think he is? I mean I guess he has the money to do what he wants but ya no thanks. Anyone wanna sacrifice their life for Scott Rudin with no benefits and no time off and virtually no money, then sign up!!!! I want to move to NYC with a job terribly, but not this terribly.
As someone who knows a little bit about Labor and Employment Law, I'm not sure he can make that position exempt and ineligible for overtime. It sounds like a classic hourly job to me. I think he'd have a hard time defending that classification as an "Exempt" job and not paying the person overtime if a complaint was filed.
Anyone with $+years experience, and required to work 14 hour days plus weekends will not be taking that job for $65K in Manhattan, or anywhere else. Just doing the math and not counting weekends, it breaks down to less than $18 per hour. For an EA with at least 4 years experience in Manhattan ????????
This is almost as appalling as when Tovah was hiring a personal assistant.
"The sexual energy between the mother and son really concerns me!"-random woman behind me at Next to Normal
"I want to meet him after and bang him!"-random woman who exposed her breasts at Rock of Ages, referring to James Carpinello
If it was some kid's first job right out of college, it would be appealing. College grads typically have several roommates since they are all first starting out, so the salary would make sense. But....he wants someone with 4 years experience to take that job making 65k. It's laughable and honestly, makes him look like the biggest asshole on the planet.
