Hi, just wondered who is going or not and if your going what try-out location are you going to. I'm going to the one in Macy's Herald Square.

What's the date/time at the Staten Island mall?
And what's the date/time at Herald Square?

It figures, one of the few days I leave Staten Island they decide to hold the contest. Not that I sing, but I would have gone to listen to other people.

So... I don't know whats going on, but apparently theres going to be a Wicked Singing Contest. Whats the prize?
See, I have a friend who actually CAN sound like Idina if she wants to. Her normal singing sounds like Gwen Stewart, though. I mean, she sounds identical. Kinda scary, cause she's a little 16 year old white girl...
American Idol isn't enough for you people? You need Broadway casting directors also telling you that you can't sing???

Did anyone go last weekend? If anyone did, please tell us what kind of person the judges are picking this year, what the crowd was like, how the talent was, and any good stories!

I don't think any of them are the best. Updated On: 10/18/05 at 12:25 AM
is it bad that i think the one guy who made it was at times much better than david ayers?

I went to look at the current semi-finalists (I'm not a Wicked fan by any means, but I was curious) and was as disappointed as I expected to be, until I got to the last one. I would be amazed by her if she was 20, but she's 10! I'm really really impressed, I hope she wins.
i know what you mean shorty, i'm listening to her now. I originally thought "oh boy, she's 10 how good can this be?"... but she has a very deep/mature voice for someone her age.

And it's well-produced and not "look how high I can belt, now love me."

I was at the Roosevelt Field Mall audition. There were about 30 good singers, 20 "get me out of here now", & 4 boys (me being one of them). They narrowed it down to the top 8 which had 7 girls and 1 boy which I thought was wrong because it gave him no competition. Then they chose 2 little girls, a girl that made it last year, and the 1 boy.
