awesome, but way too short and not enough mark!!! but ill take it over nothing. although i had my heart set on possibly seeing "halloween" on halloween

By the way, on IMDB there's lots of heated threads about the supposed cuts. Many people apparently saw a screening in Kansas City last night, some kind of college media convention.
Someone is claiming that Halloween is cut as well as the Goodbye love mark/roger fight (although some are saying this is preserved in dialogue.
I don't know the credibility of this stuff but...

Everything that was recorded is on the soundtrack. There are things on the soundtrack that did not make it into the movie we'll see in theatres, but will be on the DVD as deleted scenes.
Halloween is not in the movie. Neither is the end of Goodbye Love, from when everyone says "I can't believe this is goodbye" on. It will go from there into What You Own.
Not that I trust IMDB, but my source is credible.

I have to say, from the beginning I thought Halloween would probably be one of the first song to get cut after the voicemails and tuneups
although it does provide a great deal of depth to the character of Mark, and is a beautiful haunting song, it does not really further the plot

Wow, that makes me sad. I was really looking forward to Halloween being in the movie, as it is one of my favorites. At least we'll get to see it on the dvd though -- it'll be okay.
Emcee, do you happen to know why Hallowen and the last part of Goodbye Love were cut?
