No one will be nomitated, actually.
They aren't doing nominations for this catagory... they just announce it.
Would Harvery Firestein be eligible for Fiddler on the Roof? I thought he was fantastic.

Jonathan Pryce for DRS.
Pryce for SURE!!!! He rocked.
Are musical and play replacement going to be two seperate catagories? Or are they going to smash all leading actors male/female, play/musical into the same catagory?

Chester Gregory was not a lead in Hairspray
Seaweed was a Tony Nominated Feature Role
Thanks. I still wasn't clear that it would only be given to leads.
Does Hugh Panaro qualify? For Phantom? Cause he really rocked that role.

Does the winner have to replaced/still be performing this season?

They haven't officially announced, but I think it should be any replacement actor in a leading role that started anytime after June of last year and was contracted for 6 months.
