April 15th is Katie's last day with the show as the Glinda stand-by. I'm very sad to see her leave but there is so much ahead of her in her very bright future.

She went a few times a month.
I think when Kate Reinders was Glinda she only missed like 10 shows... and 2 of them weren't played by Katie.
Kendra's missed a few shows already (1 confirmed, so far).
Megan Hilty missed a bunch back in the day.

She was my Glinda back in August along with Lori Ann Ferreri as Nessa and Clyde Alves as Chistery, all of whom were incredibly gracious at the stage door. Katie and Lori stayed and talked to my sister and I for about 5 minutes, and Clyde (My sister thought he was cute so she screamed down the street for him to come back...) seemed genuinely surprised that anyone knew who he was, let alone ask him for an autograph.
...she now calls him her Monkey-Boyfriend.
But thats besides the point! Katie Adams was wonderful! Best of luck to her!

Posted: 3/29/07 at 8:20pmMost of the Glinda's I've seen had a definite strength - either vocally or comedically. Katie had probably the best balance of both out of all I've seen. I enjoyed her performance and I wish her well!

Posted: 3/30/07 at 1:28pmI'm seeing WICKED on April 18th and I hope Kendra is in...saw her on tour and once so far in NYC and thought she was hilarious. Never saw Katie Adams, but I hear she was excellent in the role.

Posted: 6/27/07 at 3:53pmAlli's been Brenda in both the Hairspray tour and on Broadway. She's also done City of Angels at Reprise in LA and 110 in the Shade at Pasadena Playhouse. She's absolutely fabulous and I'm sure she'll be wonderful.
