Will and Hunter look anything BUT Latin.
And I do not like how Natascia looks at all.
Will looks like he just got out of a P.O.W. camp...Hunter looks normal...Natascia looks like a makeshift little Edie.
I just wish Sutton Foster would wear makeup once in awhile.
I wonder where Jenn (Cody) is?
Guess it just goes to show she's still beautiful without it! :P
Anyone want to arrange a car-pool to see this?
Or a group train-ride? We can all pitch in for gas/costs?
Assuming tickets are still available.
Which they're not. So nevermind...
Should have jumped at the chance months ago.
Break a leg to the cast for the rest of the run!!!
You can't go wrong with this musical. And for all those who have NEVER listened to the cast recording or read the book or play.... do it. You'll be glad you did. It's an obscure Kander/Ebb masterpiece, but makes you a better musical-theatre fan for knowing it.

ljay889- no one really cares what you think about how they look. All the reviews are calling the three of them "revelations" in the roles. All three were unbelievable. Better than anything currently in NY. Saw it almost a week ago now and I can't get it out of my head.
I really don't think it's an obscure piece. It won 7 Tonys including Best Musical and the 3 leads each won.
Yeah I wouldn't say it's obscure. CHICAGO and CABARET are some of the most popular musicals ever written, so I guess in comparison (in terms of recognition and popularity), KISS is often forgotten, but I think it's one of the best Kander & Ebb wrote. My only issue with the show is that the gay guy has to sacrifice himself for the straight one, it irks me, but otherwise it is a pretty brilliant piece.
Is it me or Natascia Diaz looks A LOT like Donna Murphy (whom, btw, I would love seeing in the role, her performance of the title song is thrilling).
And I'm sorry but Hunter Foster and Will Chase are as white as apple pie. How cool would it be to have someone like Yancey Arias as Valentin and perhaps a Lin-Manuel Miranda or Robin DeJesus as Molina? That'd be more exciting than Foster and Chase, IMO.
Wow, just read some reviews.
They are all, without exception, glowing.
Wow.
Way to go. I was expecting mediocre reviews.
Oh, and to whoever asked where Jen Cody was, she is probably in rehearsal for Junie B Jones right now. I imagine it is difficult for her to get time off, what with a limited budget to rehearse and the show coming up quickly.
Cant wait for THE VISIT!

Wow! Looks like Foster got the last bow. Wish I could see this.
The pictures look fantastic!
Who cares how they look? For those of us who actually saw the show, all of them had very realistic portrayals of the characters.
Hey! I'm seeing THE VISIT too!! When is everyone going?
Hey everyone...don't assume it's sold out. I just bought a pair of tickets for this Saturday night (3/22). Also...has the Washington Post reviewed the show? I can't seem to find their review. Another tip...if you are going be sure to print directions to the theatre from their website (www.signature-theatre.org). The address for the theatre is brand new and doesn't appear yet on online maps or GPS systems.
what an inventive way to create a jail cell! i love that :)

Yay! Were going to see THE VISIT in May! only if my friend from the off-topic board would finally finalize our plans?!

I don't think the Wash. Post has reviewed it yet, but Bob Mondello gave it a bad review in the Washington City Paper (see link). Ouch.

Bob Mondello has lost his mind. I think the dichotomy of the two is the whole point of the show.
