"White women voted for Trump, 53-43."
OK...I concede you the point all day long, madbrian. That stat defies all logic especially in light of Romney's purported struggles with women 4 years ago.
Gender Gap in 2012 Vote Is Largest in Gallup's History
NOTE: the Gallup report doesn't break down the spread based on race per se.
I really have to go away for awhile. The stupidity and ignorance of some of you is appalling.
Where is your Humanity? Where is your Dignity?
I have off work tomorrow and Friday so I plan to be drunk for the next four days.
I refuse to stick my head in oven because my candidate lost. Life goes on and the new President no matter how horrible cant change the country by himself. This is not a monarchy, He is not Negan. Get gripped

Sad.

Can't change the country by himself? He's got a Senate and House (and Rudy, Newt, Chris and the alt right) just waiting to lead him by the hand.

I'd kind of like to; I'm off today and nothing's stopping me. But when I get drunk, I get angry, and I think I could easily post some scary and dangerous (for me) things on Facebook.
My daughters had booked a hotel room in DC for the inauguration, so to say they are distraught is an understatement. One of them had her mood lifted quite a bit when she the Hamilton lottery for today's matinee. My wife is attending with her.
Haven't seen Hamilton myself yet but from the reviews I've received it should lift her spirits, madbrian.
So sad for all of us, this was unthinkable. So sorry Brian, PJ, you were good troops in the cause. She would've been great. Congratulations on being drunk and on the family getting Ham tix. We'll get through this.
Holy Moly. Michael Moore predicted this! Pretty smart if you ask me.
Donald Trump came to the Detroit Economic Club, and stood there in front of the Ford Motor executives, and said, ‘If you close these factories as you’re planning to do in Detroit and build them in Mexico, I’m going to put a 35 percent tariff on those cars when you send them back, and nobody is going to buy them.’ It was an amazing thing to see. No politician, Republican or Democrat, had ever said anything like that to these executives. And it was music to the ears of people in Michigan and Ohio and Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. The Brexit states. … Whether Trump means it or not is kind of irrelevant because he’s saying the things to people who are hurting. And it’s why every beaten-down, nameless, forgotten working stiff, who used to be part of what was called the middle class, loves Trump. He is the human Molotov cocktail that they’ve been waiting for. http://www.ew.com/article/2016/11/09/michael-moore-trumpland?xid=entertainment-weekly_socialflow_twitter
I believe, in the new America, it's a "mazel tov cocktail" now.

Stock Markets are surging to record!
U.S. equities rose Wednesday, putting the Dow Jones industrial average within striking distance of a record high, after a stunning victory by Republican Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton.
The Dow rose more than 300 points in the afternoon, on track to close at a record high and about 25 points below its all-time intraday high. Caterpillar and Goldman Sachs contributed the most to gains.

You need to read further than the headline.
The greatest part of that surge is pharmaceutical stock - know why? Because now, Martin Shkreli, Heather Bresch and their kind will be able to boost prices of life-saving drugs through the ceiling.
I wonder if you'll still be crowing when you can't afford the medicine you need?

Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!! This is so true about everything it posts. It reads the headline and I assume possibly a few choice lines and just links it to here as "fact" or "good news" or whatever agenda it's trying to shove in our face.
Another one who really needs to go away...
Pharmecutical stocks and private prisons.

Dude, lay off the alcohol, especially during working hours. It's not a pretty look on you.
But I understand if you feel the need to "take it out on the world". I get it. It's okay lash out - - - it's better than holding it in and letting it fester. It will only make you bitter.
