I could see KellyAnne as White House Counsel to President Trump ala Harriet Miers for his first term or heading up one of the more high-profile federal agencies. Might be a pay cut for her though. I'm told that several agency heads who are Democrats are scrambling for the escape hatches right now.
Curious----who will now perform/sing at the White House?
If that person does, will it mean they approve of Mr Trump or do it for the honour of performing at the White House?
There might be a lot of 'splaining to do.

Kdogg36 - President Obama was following a long tradition of welcoming the president elect. Who knows what he was thinking. He has every right to be bitter and angry, but instead, he showed class.

That's easy - Ted Nugent and Scott Baio.
P Diddy, Ice Cube, Azailia Banks, Carrrie Underwood, Chingy and Foxy Brown are all supporters and would make a great Show!
With Stacey Dash as MISTRESS of ceremonies
"One vote equals one vote. What's the debate?" Well what's the debate. Why in our current society do we not care about an "each person gets a vote" idea? Why should we care about a system that was created when the vast majority of the public was uneducated and it has failed us FOUR TIMES!

I don't care what he was thinking. The effect is to make it seem like President Donald Trump is nothing especially out of the ordinary.
If Obama felt some kind of obligation to ease the transition to Trump, he could do so quietly, rather than providing a despicable photo-op to legitimize evil. He sure as **** didn't have to say anything nice about it after the meeting.
I don't find anything remotely presidential about appearing as a sore loser. On Friday, January 20, 2017, Donald J. Trump becomes my President. If I were a religious person, I'd recommend the Serenity Prayer by Reinhold Niebuhr as comfort. But since I'm not, I'll just wrap this up with...
Trump, don't f*ck up the world...it's the only one we've got!
"I can understand why Canada is so attractive -- you've got the free health care, and a prime minister who looks like the prince from Tangled," Colbert said. "But listen up there, everybody out there who's saying 'I'm gonna move to Canada': You don't get to flee when things get rough here. Being an American citizen is like family. You're in it whether you like it or not.
And you, to whom adversity has dealt the final blow
With smiling bastards lying to you everywhere you go
Turn to, and put out all your strength of arm and heart and brain
And like the Mary Ellen Carter, rise again
Rise again, rise again; though your heart it be broken
And life about to end
No matter what you've lost, be it a home, a love, a friend
Like the Mary Ellen Carter, rise again
Rise again, O rise again; though your heart it be broken
And life about to end
No matter what you've lost, be it a home, a love, a friend
Like the Mary Ellen Carter, rise again

Trump will not be "my president." Neither were Obama, Bush, or any of the others. The president presides over the government. He's the president of a State, not the president of me.

" That Election Special would make an Amazing Show, or Musical!. With all the Triumph and Tragedy. The range of emotions, From Giddy to Horror in a perfect 1 hour 30 minutes! (add 15 for Intermission)
Petition urging electors to vote the way of the people. I know the likelihood of this actually happening is extremely rare, but it wouldn't hurt to try. So please sign.
Call_me_jorge,
Just curious, what are your parents' thoughts on the petition?

Haven't talked to them about it, but I'd imagine my mom would support it. Not sure about my dad. I know he voted for Hillary, but he may have already come to idea of a trump presidency.
Interesting...If I may, I'm going to suggest that you ask them just to remove any doubt. In other words, engage them. I suspect that they'd appreciate your syncing up with them with respect to the election outcome as much as we're pleased that you thought enough of us to share the link. Thanks for sharing, btw.
My daily routine has involved watching the news channels from the moment I wake up. Now, after this, I can't watch anything with news. This is going to be a lifestyle change. I'm sick, and I can only imagine what PJ feels like. Here's to you sir, I feel your pain.
There is supposedly a Million Women March being organized for January 21st in DC.
DC can get hit with frigid weather around inauguration day.
Javero, I talked to both of my parents. My dad said he agreed it is likely it won't happen and he doesn't want it to happen, because he would rather fight our causes with the person who won the election. My mom surprised me and said she didn't want to sign it, because she thought it was useless.
I see myself as very radical and extremely different opinion wise from my dad, who is a moderate. While I usually align with my mom, though I am more left than her.
Call_me_jorge,
I'm glad you reached out to them. It was as much for their benefit as yours. Depending on your path in life, you could be detached from them in a few years. The time we have on this earth is finite. I'm now dealing with elderly parents and am facing the prospect of having to provide elder care real soon. There were a number of years in which I didn't really connect with them due to career demands, a relationship with a woman who didn't care for them, and being 5 states away. There is so much that we missed out on together because I simply didn't pick up the phone and call.
I wish you the best in your future endeavors. It's heartening to know that my future rests partly in the hands of a younger person as plugged in as you.
Jorge, I love reading your posts. You remind me of me...a little bit...long, long time ago.
Have a great weekend!!
Guess who saw this outcome coming and was ignored and dismissed by the Hillary Clinton campaign? Hint, he shares her last name. Sigh.
Prepare yourselves.
