Well, you still haven't told me how my vote for Johnson in Maryland is going to get Trump elected. Clinton is up by 33 points in Maryland; the state is not even remotely in play. You said something about people like me leading to Gore losing in 2000, but this isn't Florida. My vote's not going to deny Clinton those ten electoral votes, and those are the only ones I have the tiniest control over.

I've said repeatedly that I'd likely vote for Clinton if I lived in a swing state. I am not encouraging any possible Clinton voters to jump ship.

It's probably foolish of me to engage you on this at this point. I deeply respect your contributions on the main board, from which I've learned so much, but here you've become rather abusive. Oh well!

That was plenty eloquent. :) I guess what you characterize (not unfairly) as "engaging in rhetoric" is, to me, just sharing my opinion like everyone else is doing here. I spend zero time in real life trying to convince people to vote for Johnson and that is not my intention here, either. Perhaps I should keep a lower profile for the next six weeks, at least as far as the presidential vote is concerned!

I actually spend much more energy and time expressing my hatred and anger towards Trump and, frankly, his supporters, and not always in a constructive way. Therefore, although I don't think I'm the right target, I'm actually fairly understanding of PalJoey's tone. :)

Yeah, "rhetoric/rhetorically" in the literal sense. You’re not shouting in the streets that Clinton is a witch to be burned, but your open support of Johnson is a tacit denouncement of her candidacy, which seems like a good thing to bear in mind if you really see Trump as a threat to the country. And I’m certainly not encouraging you to keep your peace. Like madbrian, I have a hard time wrapping my head around your support for Gary Johnson (and libertarianism in general), but this is still America.

It's been a good thing that we see how our friends and family react to this election, who they're for or not. You're late to the party Steve C. I had to unfriend my friends and family months ago. I could see it was going to get ugly and it has. One constant throughout this whole year on these boards has been PJ's insane love affair with this woman. He has been going overboard for a long time and he needs to be called out. If you were for Bernie, he acted like an ass, and if you're not with her now you're stupid. In fact all of us who have wrote anything against her can go to hell. You sir need to lighten up, and as much as I admire the Growl, and his humor, Kdogg has no reason to regret how he feels, a lot of us feel the same way, and he is quite right that his vote won't matter in Maryland, and if he wants to come on here and state his feelings who are you folks to say anything.

The FBI said in its notes from an Huma Abedin interview that the address on a Clinton email chain "is believed to be a pseudonym used by the President."

Abedin said she didn't recognize the name and "expressed her amazement" that Obama used a pseudonym.

The FBI said she exclaimed: "How is this not classified?"

At this point which one is really the lesser of two evils? I wish anyone BUT Hilary and Donald were running for President, and Obama using a pseudonym? Why? What were those two hiding? My guess is the fact that Hilary was using a private e-mail server when she shouldn't have been in the first place.

I've been fighting a week of measured actions and reactions to people with differing views on who is qualified to be elected as President. Even this thread has been more explosive than usual. But now this piece from the Daily Beast, this is the kind of "advertising" that really makes me lose my $hit!!!

Now, Caitlyn Jenner has been convincing the Queen of the World, Kim K., that she should vote for Donald Trump. What in the hell are we supposed to make of this? Do you know how influential some of KK's admirers could be? Even if she says she's "thinking about" voting for Trump, that is too, too much for me. (Are the middle names of Kardashians KKK?)

Now, as for Jenner, I mean no disrespect to her transgender identity, but she has never stopped being "an entitled, super rich, white guy, living in luxury and caring nothing about people in the world that "she" could do so very much to help. Exploiting a dozen transgender persons stories for a TV show is not how to give back to her community. Of the transgender people in my life, they have worked circles around Jenner, giving back so much more love and volunteering whenever possible in the many ways to support other transgender people in their struggle.

This is the point where I start raving, because, if you are rich enough and DON'T REALLY CARE about the issues and the well being of your fellow citizens you are the sham, you are the Ted Cruzs, you are the Ryans, and McConnells, you are the Log Cabins, you are the pathetic "Jenner's" that have already built their own walls to keep out the rest of the world. If you don't care about the absolute future of the world, leading us back toward a growing Nazi state, I will defy you and fight you every way possible. You're right SNAFU. And I have first hand knowledge of a NJ food wholesaler, that supplied the produce, the deli, the condiments, the famous steaks, where I was the A/C - A/P manager, to the casinos. We got stiffed for over $100,000 in the end and couldn't touch him b/c of bankruptcy.

One of the many reasons we'll never see his tax returns.

At this point it looks like Trump will be the one with the landslide victory. Hopefully people are starting to finally realize the lying crook she truly is.
