The recently posted questions about polling/phone bank/calling/land lines are very valid and frustrating, especially if you're someone using the data. This is another case of procedures and info/data not keeping up with technology and/or voting patterns and habits. This very often leads to voter confusion and misinformation. The predominance of using land lines immediately adds a median age to your voter pool. Younger potential or millennial voters don't really use land lines. The auto dial database is already kind of dated. You get older voters; younger voters don't give out their cell numbers to certain demographics, are afraid of unknown surcharges or fees...they think their phone is for voting on the "Voice", etc.; then you'll get people that are angry saying they're on the DNC list, most pollsters or campaigns don't want you to leave messages, the autodial ends up calling the same voter's day after day...so your results are already skewed. I know the pollsters say they have built in auto corrections for all these things but it's frustrating none the less and it still leaves you wondering...is all this reliable?
MSNBC is reporting Comey is sending another letter to Congress, saying the email investigation is over, and they have not changed their conclusions.
This speech is a home run.
And just released? After scrutinizing the new emails, nothing new has come to light. you know, more than a week after damage was done.
See? Did I say this was a nothingburger or did I say this was a nothingburger?
PJ, your posts are rockin this, man, you're killin me. I wanna party with you Tuesday night.
Time for predictions.
Clinton takes every major state, including the doubtful swing states. Even Iowa, Arizona, and Georgia.
There was never going to be anything from this, but Trump has had 9 days to rail against her.
I was never in any doubt, but it did sway the polls.
This has to be a good thing, right, or does it just stir up the hornet's nest all over again? Does it even matter anymore this close to polling?
How many votes were lost in the early voting because of this shambles? We'll never know.
What happens on Wednesday. Clinton is our President-elect. There are only two predictions I'm comfortable making. Gun sales and Wall Street go up.

Ok, that still is pretty bad if you have to go back to Lincoln - lol
Not really, since Lincoln is accepted as the BEST PRESIDENT in our country's history.
So tomorrow, the day before the election, instead of "Clinton Ahead" we get "Clinton Not Indicted by Comey" or myriad variations. They still get to cast aspersions, indirectly, and just planting the idea that she has been under further suspicion is horrific. No one is fooled. It's a terrifying, infuriating moment in our history. And historical this is. She will win, but Comey and the FBI have purposefully and willfully damaged her and us. Especially us. Us.
Back to maing fun of the Trump-a-lumps:
So if Donald Trump wins the presidency what do we do?
We clutch our armrests and prepare for a scary ride.
"If Donald Trump wins the presidency what do those who hate and fear him do?"
We deal with it. In times past, many Americans had it much worse.
"Not really, since Lincoln is accepted as the BEST PRESIDENT in our country's history. "
Really, you are going to compare Hillary Clinton to "Honest Abe" Lincoln. That is just priceless - lol
"See? Did I say this was a nothingburger or did I say this was a nothingburger?

You also said Comey should resign in disgrace for opening up the investigation again, funny how your tune is changing.
"We deal with it. In times past, many Americans had it much worse"
Exactly. Our government has a Congress to watch over any President and the Republicans at best will have slim majority in the House and possibly could lose the Senate.
You also said Comey should resign in disgrace for opening up the investigation again, funny how your tune is changing.
My tune hasn't changed at all. He should still resign. He has lost control of his agents and allowed them to blackmail him into attempting to interfere with a national election 11 days before the vote. Conduct unbecoming an FBI director.
Good news: the SEPTA strike appears to be settled, so folks in Philly should be able to get to the polls.
Please please let this madness end! Trump surrogate Scottie Mell something compares Trumps remarks concerning rappers Jay-Z or Kanye music video ..."they're throwing Mazel Tov cocktails"...the stupidity is egregious!

I'm going to be drinking Mazel Tov Cocktails all night Tuesday!
And as for "Honest Abe," you really need to read Doris Kearns Goodwin's magnificent Lincoln biography "Team of Rivals," to see what a masterful politician Lincoln really was.
