These awards are not to be taken seriously, in any case. The Hollywood Foreign Press has under a hundred voters deciding these things, and are rumored to be as corrupt as FIFA.

Besides that I'm pretty upset that Fargo got snubbed and Robin Wright didn't win. I loved her on this season of House of Cards and it's a shame that the show wasn't nominated for more awards. I mean: if even Scream Queens and AHS Hotel can get nominations, why was HoC only nominated for best actress?

The Martian will surly so well at the Oscars. It will get a boat load of nominations and if the Globes taught us anything this year, there is no such thing as a sure thing. Anything can happen.

Also, Mad Max deserves the nominations it got here (and will get at the Oscars). It's one of the best reviewed films of the year and was simply stunning.

I'm so glad Maura Tierney won! I know the GGs are silly, though.

Gaga's win is down there with Pia Zadora's and Madonna's as the worst acting to win any award. I like her alot, but she's just bad in AHS.

You could tell from the overall reaction that the audience was sort of nonplussed over GaGa's win. No one saw it coming, not even GaGa herself. She was genuinely nervous up there accepting the award.

Her comment about really wanting to be an actress but music "getting in the way" reminded me of Streisand, who claims that acting was always her first love and music "just happened".

I haven't watched AHS this season at all so I have no idea if she was deserving of the award.
