I don't know if I believe it yet. If it's true, very sad... They're the only ones reporting it so far... I'm gonna wait for a more reliable source...

I REALLY hope this is untrue.

THE DEAD GIRL was/is her best screen performance (and no, I'm not making a joke) and it's actually on HBO right now. Jeez.

I don't believe it's true. All articles are pointing back to TMZ. Nothing official yet.

True or not, I find the trajectory her life and career has taken/took to be very saddening. I saw her in View from the Bridge with LaPaglia and Janney and I loved her and thought she was well on her way to becoming a highly talented actor. Then she took the veer toward celebrity instead.

TMZ is becoming a legitimate source. They were the first to report the Michael Jackson death and many networks like CNN are now referencing TMZ.

This is sad news. I loved her in "Riding In Cars With Boys". She was funny but it wouldn't shock me if this was because of drugs something like that.

They were just mocking her on SNL a few weeks ago. The recent Brittany Murphy articles on TMZ seem to suggest she and her husband have health-related problems, to be tactful.

She was supposed to be the voice of Tinker Bell in the new Fairies franchise Disney created. And then she was also supposed to star in another project that didn't happen or she got replaced...
