This week

Yep, he sure did. Shocking evening.

ROFL at Ryan attempting to assert his heterosexuality with that Paula comment. Methinks the lady doth protest too much.

I just, maybe I'm deaf, but I just don't see any sort of greatness from him. Elliot doesn't do anything but make me want to change the channel. They said he's showing personality, but frankly, he still has no personality (unless goofy is suddenly a valid personality) I feel like simon is getting soft cause this season has just sucked, and if all he does is rip everyone apart it just gets annoying so he has to compliment someone sometime.
when ducks grow thumbs then maybe my opinion will change.

Aww, Ryans a good guy.

This week

Oh boy... more tension between Ryan and Paula. I love how Simon and Randy defended her honor.

ELLIOT IS ADORABLE. Chris is the one who needs to show personality. As much as I love him, he doesn't move his face when he sings.

This week

Oh God, Katharine is literally painful to listen to. I bet the judges will slobber all over her anyway.

This week

Tough night for all of them. I wish them all good luck. Nobody sucked at least.

I hate to say it, but I think Chris is in trouble. That was not good.

Tough call tonight. Taylor is still my least favorite, but he did well.
Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be enbered with your old nonsense. ~ Emerson

This week

they loved Taylor's ballad, but I kept wanting to laugh. He was making funny faces and acting goofy again. I agree, Chris has no personality and if it weren't for the mic stand, he'd be nowhere! Katherine did try too hard, so tonight, and I never thought I'd say this-Elliott ruled!

The way the voting seems to go, it could be any of them. Good or bad.

It doesn't help Taylor that In the Ghetto is one of the cheesiest songs ever. This week

This week

I thought Elliot, Chris, and Taylor all did extremely well.
Katherine, on the other hand, stank! Why is this Miss American wannabe still around? She sings every song flat and off-key! If there's a God, she'll be out tomorrow night.

Elliot: 9
Chirs: 8
Taylor: 8
Katherine: 6

This week

Poor Katharine.

I was really hoping that Kat would sing Trouble, because I remember when Carrie did it last year. Carrie was amazing, and the way it was arranged and how she mixed it up a bit would've fit Kat's voice perfectly. I literally shouted when Elliott said that's what he was doing. He did great, though, as much as I hate to admit it.

All those without a favorite and feel like voting, VOTE FOR KATHARINE!

This week

I'm a big Katharine fan, but I'm beginning to wonder if she's more of a studio performer than a live performer. Every guest star that's worked with her has raved about her, but she has yet to really bring it, come showtime.

This week

I thought Taylor's first song was his usual goofy self and he appealed to his "awww, we gotta vote for the crazy guy" crowd. The second song was much better and showed he actually can sing, but he still looks like he's in pain when he sings.

Chris was average at best. I thought the first song was okay. The second song was boring. He sounded okay, but there was no personality at all. You take him out of his rock element and it kind of takes the shine off of him. Also, the glasses, his pre-interview, the whole boxer briefs comment, and the video packages all sort of rubbed me the wrong way tonight. At least Fox toned down the pimping of him a little bit tonight.

I thought Elliot walked in and stole the show tonight. Simon was completely wrong about him being the underdog, but I thought his two performances were superior to everyone else's other two. His version of "Trouble" was great.

Kat really dropped the ball tonight. I liked the energy and stuff with the first song and I really liked the first 2/3 of "Can't Halp Falling in Love with You," but she has to do all the vocal acrobatics and it takes away from the melody. She has a terrific voice and just once I'd like to hear her sing a song without throwing all the runs and stuff in there.

I think Elliot is safe and if gets voted off tomorrow then it is obvious that no one pays attention to the performances every week and just votes for whomever they like. I think Taylor will be safe as well, so that means either Chris or Kat is going home. Funny how the front runners have fallen to the back now.

This week

BUt they really haven't. I'd be REALLY surprised if either of them were going home.

I think it SHOULD be Taylor, but it might be Elliott.
#1570

This week

It's gonna be an all-male finale after Katharine's disastrous second number.
#1571

This week

I don't know which of the 3 boys I like better.
Katherine has to go. She's full of herself, and the key of her last song (one of my favorites), was out of her reach.

I need to drag out the original and restore my good feelings about it.

I think she'll be fine either way. She might just be the next Mrs. Tommy Mattola. This week

This week

Wow. Definitely a great night minus Katharine. I'm starting to get weird Katie Holmes vibes from her. I think her brain left the planet.

Taylor = pretty good. First song was much better, but I like the crazy Taylor that jumps around the stage. He entertains me.

Chris = OK. It seems he's softening his voice because of last week's strain. He was good. The sunglasses may have sealed his fate to play Goose in the Top Gun remake. (Hey, with the way Hollywood is, I'd be far from surprised.)

Elliot = Awesome! Although the second song was much better, he did the best out of everyone tonight. "Trouble" wound up being a great choice for him. Great vocals.

Katharine = zzzzzzz. Bye bye Kat!!
