I said it would HELP bring it down. Is anybody going to pay $20 for a Sanjaya CD? Or much less $100 for concert tickets?

How in the world is Sanjaya going to "bring down" American Idol? It's consistently the number 1 and 2 top-rated show each and every week. He certainly hasn't hurt it yet. And even if he wins, so what and who cares? I'll still watch next season. And so will millions of others. So, dial away!

In any other season Haley probally wouldn't have been knocked as much. But against 3 VERY powerful female voices, it was inevitable that this would happened to her.


I enjoyed her and I liked her voice.

You know how when someone is singing and the camera is on a tight shot and you can't help staring at their mouth? Well, sometimes that can be distracting. Last season I couldn't get past staring at Elliot Yamin's mouth and couldn't concentrate on his voice. This season it's Lakisha's. I can't stop staring
p.s. It reminds me of the movie Dune.

I think it's hilarious that people think record producers are "worried" about Sanjaya winning (and even more hilarious if they actually are). Because Taylor Hicks and Ruben have had such lucrative recording careers, right? At least Sanjaya has the teen idol appeal.
